It's Clint Eastwood. He can do this now because nobody even looks at folks his age in this land. -

This is NJ today. Jon Bramnick YtitceiosSteprfodaynfreotg eractths 8oer:de1hne7 AdM · The recent marijuana legislation included CRAZY provisions and THE GOVERNOR SIGNED the law. First, the POLICE ARE PROHIBITED FROM INFORMING THE PARENTS THAT THEIR YOUNG CHILDREN WERE USING MARIJUANA. Second, that if MARIJUANA SMOKE IS coming out from a car, THAT IS NOT CONSIDERED PROBABLE CAUSE for a police officer to take certain action. AND FINALLY THE POLICE OFFICERS ARE CRIMINALS IF THEY DO ANY OF THE ABOVE. The public voted for the legalization of marijuana but not for ANY OF THE ABOVE CRAZINESS. Common sense has been replaced with extremists controlling the agenda in Trenton. Balance in public policy is absolutely necessary. I have begun the process to remove these provisions from the law. -

Gun Control Bill Headed To The Senate

Government is about coercion. Limiting government is the single most important instrument for guaranteeing liberty. Democracy is little more than mob rule, while liberty refers to the sovereignty of the individual. The true test of one’s commitment to liberty and private property rights…comes when we permit people to be free to do those voluntary things with which we disagree. In a free society, government has the responsibility of protecting us from others, but not from ourselves. The essence of government is force, and most often that force is used to accomplish evil ends. If we buy into the notion that somehow property rights are less important, or are in conflict with, human or civil rights, we give the socialists a freer hand to attack our property. Substituting democratic decision making for what should be private decision-making is nothing less than tyranny dressed up. It’s government people, not rich people, who have the power to coerce and make our lives miserable. The moral tragedy that has befallen Americans is our belief that it is okay for government to forcibly use one American to serve the purposes of another–that in my book is a working definition of slavery. Always be suspicious of those who…claim their way is the best way and are willing to force their way on the rest of us. This is what we need to fight for, because the government is fighting to control all of us. -

Nope. I won't be around for them to find. I'll be in the wind, and that gives me the advantage. -

Alive and free? LOL! After the govt sics the military on it's own people, you will feel free? You will find your face under a jack boot forever. That is the mindset of people from NY, but not from people in most of the country like the south, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico and many other free states. The law won't help you either, because it's not going to hear any cases regarding gun rights. They will be gone. And they will be taken to make you comply with everything the left plans to force on you from there on, because there won't be crap you can do about it then. People who believe this fight will be an open field battle between the military and Americans are clueless. And I don't believe the govt thinks that will be the case either. That's not even close to the method that will be employed by Americans who refuse to be "RULED". Besides, not all of the military will follow unconstitutional orders from tyrants controlling the govt, and most veterans will not side with the military when the govt comes after them. This leftist government is about to start the most vicious uprising in the history of this land, and it's not about disarming everyone, it's about total control of disarmed citizens. Over in about an hour? It will never be over, until every man who wants to be free, or every tyrant is dead. Any war against gun owners in this land will have NO Rules of Engagement. Wish good luck to the gun owners who comply in the hope these tyrants will leave them alone to cry and moan in the future, because it won't. -

Belo, legal booze isn't being pushed by politicians looking to take your guns away though, is it? Did you vote for a gun grabber so you could smoke weed? -

A Gun Control Tale
Grouse replied to hunter's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
If we’re ignorant, we won’t even know when government infringes on our liberties. Moreover, we’ll happily cast our votes for those who’d destroy our liberties. If we care about our remaining liberties we must at some point …let politicians and bureaucrats know we will not tolerate further encroachment on our God-given rights to liberty. -

You have no idea who I am. Don't doubt me. I'm 65, not married, kids are grown and a life sentence or death doesn't scare me anymore at this age, especially if I'm forced to defend myself from a lethal attack by government thugs violating my rights. Ever heard of Randy Weaver of Ruby Ridge, ID? The government controls people and removes their rights by making them fear losing what they possess. Nothing I possess means as much to me as my freedom and I'm turning a lot of possessions over to family in anticipation of what may come. If you believe I don't have a nasty bite, it isn't the only thing you're wrong about. Not that it matters to me. I expect nothing of fortitude from others, and I'm seldom wrong. I find most to be completely insignificant and useless when it matters.
