  1. When a group of tourists visited a crocodile farm, the owner of the place launched a bold proposal, "Whoever dares to jump, swim to the shore, and survive, I'll give you $1,000,000. No one dared to move. Suddenly, a man jumped into the water, and desperately swam, and made it to the shore, while being chased by all the crocodiles. The owner announced, "We have a brave winner!!" After the man collected his reward, he and his wife returned to the hotel. Upon arrival, the manager told him that he had been very brave to jump. To which the man replied, "I didn't jump, someone pushed me!" His wife smiled..... Moral - Behind every successful man, there's a woman who pushes him!
  2. Our Governor would like it to require a NICS check when transferred, even face to face. It's Soviet style stuff.
  3. I do not believe it is legal to ship any ammo with the US postal service in any state. You can call them to check. UPS will take it when the box has the correct placard on it. Face to face sale is still done all the time. Not sure what the Governor thinks about it, but I know it's done.
  4. Beautiful .22 rifle and rare. I think those Kimber .22's were some of the best hunting .22's even manufactured. Your's is the one designed for silhouette shooting. I have one of the regular hunter models. They have a great trigger and will shoot one hole groups with the right ammo. You may need to try different loads to see what it really likes.
  5. https://www.nrahlf.org/articles/2023/7/11/us-house-resolution-aims-to-halt-federal-lead-ammo-bans/?utm_source=newsletter A key U.S. House committee has approved an important measure that would help ensure the future of hunting in the United States by prohibiting the ban of lead ammunition on many federally managed lands. HR 615, called the Protecting Access for Hunters and Anglers Act, was introduced by Republican U.S. Rep. Rob Wittman of Virginia. The measure bars the Department of the Interior and the Department of Agriculture from prohibiting or regulating the use of lead ammunition or tackle on federal land or water that is under the jurisdiction of such departments and made available for hunting or fishing. Such a ban would make hunting more difficult and more expensive for hunters who want to access these public lands. Non-lead ammunition, often made of copper alloys, is routinely cited as being at least 25 percent more expensive than traditional lead varieties. Non-lead ammunition also can be very difficult to find at retail operations as there simply is not that much of it made compared to traditional lead ammunition. The non-lead options available for centerfire rifle ammunition, for example, are limited to certain popular calibers.
  6. There are some, like shape of the snout and ears, but it's hard for anyone not educated of the differences to pick up on them.
  7. $1 trillion a year in interest: This is what happens when the government spends money like a drunken sailor. The debt the U.S. government has accumulated and added to especially since the COVID pandemic has grown astronomically. As a result, this year, for the first time in U.S. history, the federal government will spend $1 trillion in taxpayer money on interest on the national debt. That is the equivalent of the entire value of Apple effectively up in smoke. To make matters worse, every year Congress keeps adding more to the ballooning debt. Will Americans ever be free from this debt our government has and continues to accumulate?
