That's the way it should be. NY handles the desire for having bigger deer around with antler restrictions, and put the AR laws mostly in the Catskills. Fewer deer hunters use those zones because they just want to be able to kill a buck. They don't hunt for antlers.

I don't understand this statement. I assume you have only one firearm hunting license every year. The bow license is issued as a separate license, but the SS# info is the same as the hunting license if you have a gun license. The rest of the license tags are just permits to allow ML, Doe, turkey, etc. I'm sure DEC counts hunters based on how many unique SS #'s they have in the license data base.

And NY seems to follow whatever those fools in California do.

I'm pretty sure it sprang from oblivion once that guy posted pictures of the wolf he shot all over the internet. The public has been made aware of wolves in NY now, so putting the genie back in the bottle is not going to happen anytime soon. I think it's best to be prepared for an attack.

Regardless of the original intent of this country, millions of people are clamoring for socialism because they can't afford the basic necessities of life. Government claims that they can solve the problem that they created. And people believe it because they were educated by government.

The democrats will do this in different degrees depending on which republican candidate is a potential to win. Trump was & will be such a target, so will Ron De Santis & Nikki Haley & any other with a chance to win. The corrupt & fake media & democrat spinsters & "journalists" will be there, as always, to carry the dirty water for the democrats & further their propaganda & misinformation.
