  1. Biden's white house actually had the audacity to tweet this: ( It was later removed) "Seniors are getting the biggest increase in their Social Security checks in 10 years through President Biden's leadership," the White House tweeted Tuesday." Yes, for a fleeting moment Biden finally took responsibility for the inflation that he caused.
  2. FYI, this is the political humor thread. It's not supposed to be where you get your news from.
  3. Don't be so pessimistic. Those polls are manipulated to make people think it's closer than it is. They said Hillary would beat Trump by miles and they knew that was a lie. Hochul cannot expect to win when crime is out of control and she has no plan to correct it. She says it's not important. She has no plans to fix the state's economy. She thinks it's great. She refuses to acknowledge all the businesses the Democrats destroyed during COVID, or the rights they trampled, or the elderly Cuomo killed, or the 1.4 million people who fled the state, or her tyrannical dictates that prove she thinks all NY citizens are subjects under her thumb. I think there will be enough people voting that have finally come to realize Democrats are a threat to their future and their freedom. They want to be left alone to live in peace. That's why there is reason to be hopeful. Then again, there is reason to believe the Democrats are capable of election fraud and may very well steal the election. They can easily cover all fraud up too, since they control every agency that would have to look into it. Their corruption is the worst it has ever been. But that's another reason why many are planning to vote against them.
  4. Nah, Mexicans are shorter and want to work when they come here illegally. And none are the spawn of US Draft dodgers.
  5. This photo was taken about 75 years ago and put into a backlit wooden frame and hung behind a bar in an upstate pub. It resides in my home now.
  6. Zeldin is for representative government in NY state that understands the Governor works for the people. Hochul represents tyranny that believes the government rules over us. The choice is clear.
  7. Yep. They are covering it all up and creating a lie about what took place.
  8. I start the grandkids out with the recurve bow so they learn the basics and good technique. His sister is 9 now and she still loves to shoot her recurve bow. She is really good with it out to 30 yards too. She wants to shoot a deer with it, but needs to get her license first. Neither one is shooting guns much yet, as I don't have any youth firearms that would fit them.
  9. He just turned 4 years old and is hooked, but needs a lot of practice. He's shooting an old Browning youth model bow with old aluminum arrows. The smile can't be denied.
  10. With many people in the city concerned with the massive increase in crime since "Bail Reform" and the war on police left 4000 vacancies on the force, there is an excellent chance even NYC will not be giving Hochul more than half of it's votes. There hasn't been a better chance for a Republican candidate to win the state house since Pataki. Upstate NY voters just need to get their butts to the polls and make it happen.
  11. Zeldin is running as a Republican. Votes for independents in this election probably take votes from him.
  12. "The short memories of the American voters is what keeps our politicians in office." —Will Rogers (1879-1935)
  13. A man lost an arm when his golf cart rolled over on him on a down slope. He became very depressed because he loved to play golf. One day in his despair, he decided to commit suicide and end it all. He got on an elevator and went to the top of a building to jump off. He was standing on the ledge looking down and saw this man down on the sidewalk skipping along, whooping and kicking up his heels. He looked closer and saw that this man didn't have any arms at all. He started thinking, 'What am I doing up here feeling sorry for myself? I still have one good arm to do things with.' He thought, 'There goes a man with no arms skipping down the sidewalk so happy, and going on with his life.' He hurried down to the sidewalk and caught up with the man with no arms. He told him how glad he was to see him because he lost one of his arms and felt useless and was going to kill himself. He thanked him for saving his life and said he knew he could make it with one arm if the guy could go on with no arms. The man with no arms began dancing and whooping and kicking up his heels again. He asked, "Why are you so happy anyway? He said, "I'm NOT happy.........My balls itch!" Heart-warming stories like this, just brings a tear to my eye
  14. There are plenty of unanswered questions here — and we can be certain that the really inconvenient ones won't be answered before Election Day. Blogger Steve Krakauer puts forth a few of them: Why [weren't] there signs of forced entry at Pelosi home? Who was 3rd person who opened door for the police? Why was Pelosi holding hammer, and attack only happened after police arrived Where is bodycam / security footage? Why isn't the press asking these questions? The fourth question, it seems to me, is the best one: What exactly did the cops see when they were let into the home, and where's the security footage that shows DePape forcing his way in? Inquiring minds want to know why there was such an appalling lapse of security at the downtown San Francisco home of the speaker of the House, the person who is second in line to the presidency. Inquiring minds also want to know how the mainstream media can dare report that a psychotic nudist Berkeleyite homeless addict and lifelong leftist is a MAGA Republican.
