The Supreme Court's decisions carry a lot of weight in the legal system, but the system works very slowly. The Sullivan Law it overturned was on the books for 111 years. It takes a lawsuit, and lots of cash and political influence to even get a case before the SCOTUS so it can rule on it. However, rogue politicians like Hochul, who violate their oaths of office with impunity, know this is the case and will intentionally pass these retaliatory laws as a stall tactic to prevent the SCOTUS ruling from changing anything. These people need to be impeached when they do that, but because this state is a blue state with an idiot electorate, it will not happen. This is why your vote matters, and if you have a lot of stupid people in your state, you only have two choices. Work on converting the stupid people, or move out of state.

And Biden says it's the conservatives who "don't respect the Rule of Law". Here we have a judge saying none of this NY law is Constitutional and violates the Rule of Law, yet he lets it stand on the basis the group who sued "has no standing"? That's exactly the way the leftists threw out all of the lawsuits saying the 2020 election was stolen. We have a very corrupt legal system in this country. It could take decades for this crap to go through the legal system, which is exactly why Hochul did it. She knew that she could use this law as a stall tactic for years, and nothing will happen to her for intentionally violating people's rights. But God forbid you refuse to bake a cake or arrange flowers for a gay wedding. That will get you sued out of business and maybe jailed. the legal system has become a tool of the political left. The legal system doesn't respect the Rule of Law!

If so, you shouldn't be making any suggestions about solving any climate issues, especially if you don't think it's important to look at the disadvantages decisions may come with. If this leftist government keeps moving in the direction it's going, not only will climate oppression cause a total economic meltdown, but it will probably outlaw hunting for all future generations, due to the "environmental damage" hunters cause when they enter the woods and shoot game. That is a major disadvantage to supporting ecofascists and envirowackos that don't care about any consequences of their decisions.

With the midterms around the corner, we can expect Democrats to reach out and touch just about every group of Americans finding it hard to make ends meet in an economic malaise created by those same Democrats. It's called vote buying. Just as they bailed out those who fell prey to the college loan scheme, the Biden administration may well throw a life raft to renters. Meanwhile, our national debt continues to soar. At some point, someone's got to pay for all of this, right? Democrats don't seem worried about it, but perhaps a power shift to the Republicans this November will help restore some common sense and fiscal sanity to a government that's out of control.

I don't think anyone ever said the climate isn't changing. I think they were saying man isn't causing the change and the ideas presented won't stop it. To me, the biggest problem in this whole issue is, they love to talk about the advantages of green energy, but refuse to discuss all of the disadvantages. An intelligent decision is arrived at when you correctly identify the problem in the first place. Then look at all of the possible solutions. Then look at all the advantages and disadvantages of each possible solution. If your not looking at any of the disadvantages, you're either not qualified to be making the decisions, or you're forcing bad decisions on everyone to satisfy your personal agenda.

A Canadian Forces veteran seeking treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder and a traumatic brain injury was "inappropriately" offered medical assistance in dying, spurring an investigation. The federal government says the MAID program -- first passed in 2016 following a 2015 ruling by the Supreme Court of Canada -- is intended for people with a "grievous and irremediable condition." Mental illnesses are currently excluded, patients must be at least 18 years old and two independent health professionals have to approve the request after receiving informed consent. Bill C-7, which received royal assent in March 2021, expanded access to MAID by repealing an eligibility provision that required "a person's natural death be reasonably foreseeable." Why is it the current plan by those who say they care more than everyone else, is to tax us all at much higher rates? Maybe if they could make a credible case that would solve the problem, people would buy it. But they haven't been able to do that. So, when the people don't buy it, they want to force it on everyone at the point of a gun. Why is it that all of the plans the left has for everyone to live buy, has to be forced on everyone at the point of a gun? You know what they call people who try to force their will on everyone else?
