  1. If you think for a second there is a reason forums do not delete accounts. Membership numbers have nada to do with advertising. Sent from my DROID RAZR
  2. I'm going to try to film this year, i did a bit the year before. But I only do it during down time...
  3. Im for 1 buck, AR in my area (statewide it would need to be adjusted, 3pt rule would not be effective up in the farm region) and I agree on year round yotes.
  4. Im hungry now talking about deer. My old man called me tonight and he made a venison meat sauce/ gravy for some pasta. Froze some, can't wait to try it!
  5. I think most buttons are shot by accident since they are not the easiest thing to identify.
  6. Nah its not all his fault, he is just following what he is told to do.
  7. I'd be willing to try anything, but since AR's have been effective in other states I don't think there is a need for a "lottery". Now, one buck per year, that I'd go for in a second.
  8. No need to, I already know who wrote that report, and he is not in favor of AR's. And yes, the public support by those who care about the herd and are clearly more knowledgeable then the one that wrote that article is what got AR's to where they are today, no thanks to the DEC and their baseless "No Biologic Need".
  9. Yes its him, and obviously there are people a lot more knowledgeable and concerned about the deer population then you and him. Yes an article written by a very well respected and knowledgeable NY DEC retired Biologist, thanks for pointing that out though!
  10. Right there is no leg to stand on because why? One NY biologist has his opinion on the subject? give me a break. He is the same one that wrote up that document your quoting, he is clearly not in favor of AR's. I mean the DEC has been right on 100% of all the crap they have said in the past right? LOL. http://www.hvqdma.com/biological-needs-for-antler-restriction/ Dick Henry is a retired NY DEC and well respected biologist.
  11. Yeah we tried one of those solar things to see if we can actually get the corn up. Last year they ate the leaves off before it was 3ft tall.
  12. John - Same here... I have not found one person against AR's other then online.
  13. Obviously you are missing the big picture and focusing the things that make it easier for you to argue against AR's.
  14. Yes, all of us AR supporters ran out and greased out politicians. I did write a letter for support, and got a response as well.. Some of the DEC biologists support it, some don't.
  15. I find it to be quite the opposite. As I said in that other thread all of you guys keep generalizing AR supporters as greedy trophy hunters, that's just not the case, and not fair at all. I don't belong to a sportsman club, I don't belong to any organizations (yet), I haven't shot a buck in 8+ years... Had a few opportunities at some nice buck over the last 3 - 4 years but were out of range during the bow season. I have a group of at least 25 hunters that we all associate with in 3H and 3J, not one is opposed to the AR. In fact they support it 100%.. The ages in our group vary from 15 to 69, some are locals some come from the Island. If anything AR's have brought new excitement over the past few years because we are seeing more bucks, bigger, healthier, meatier bucks and starting to getting the age range of the herd back to where it should be. AR's are not for everywhere, the way its implemented isn't the "Best" way, but its a start.

I have a group of at least 25 hunters that we all associate with in 3H and 3J, not one is opposed to the AR and most of those 25 were already practicing some form a restrictions on their own along with QDM.
