  1. Wew, thats just freaky looking.
  2. Little worried about that corn, some of them tasseled and are only about 4 ft tall... They wont grow much taller now correct?
  3. Out the front door, never saw this many bucks out there. But this is the first year we had grass. Turkey showed up too! Sent from my DROID RAZR
  4. In your opinion. I have seen and heard of nothing but success in this area which pretty much mirrors that article. Buck harvest up, 2.5 and 3.5 harvest up as well as bigger deer.
  5. They hung out for a while this morning, then a big 8 pointer ran in. It was pretty neat.
  6. These two are from the sorgrum, beans, and other mixed stuff plot. All in all I'm pretty happy considering the lack of rain up there the last 1.5 months or so.
  7. Few pics I took today of the food plots. Wow a lot of tree's are down up here in Sullivan. Anyways, the plots look like they are coming a long OK, we have had a few inches of rain the last 7 days so that has to be helping things. These first two are from the corn plot...
  8. How cool is this to wake up to. My 1 year old loved it. A few times they were fighting too. Sent from my DROID RAZR
  9. Wow, thats crazy, good thing she is ok.
  10. Looks like some nasty storms coming to my dad's place up in Sullivan based on the radar then down eventually to me... FYI below: ... Severe thunderstorms expected this evening... A line of severe thunderstorms is currently moving through central New York and central Pennsylvania... and is on track to enter the forecast area this evening. These storms have a history of producing wind damage... and are not likely to weaken as they approach the local area. This line will first enter the lower Hudson Valley... northeast New Jersey... and New York City between 5 PM and 6 PM... and will move east into Connecticut and Long Island between 7 PM and 8 PM. Additional thunderstorms will linger over the area through midnight. Severe thunderstorms are capable of damaging winds over 58 mph and hail over 1 inch in diameter. Frequent and dangerous lightning strikes are expected with these storms. Torrential rain with rates between 1 and 2 inches per hour is likely... possibly producing flash flooding over the area. Isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Please stay advised for warnings that will be issued.

    Hi All

    Welcome to the site Tom...
  12. Any idea what kind of grass this is growing here? Also do you think throw and grow / no plow crap could work next year if I round-up the area? Its way to rocky to get the disc in there, so I was thinking attempting that no plow stuff to get some more stuff growing other then weeds. Any suggestions? P.S. there are a ton of ferns around as well, I didnt get a picture of that. Sorry crappy picture, I thought it was clearer, apparently not!
  13. I tried it on a trip to Italy, it was delicious.
  14. He is gonna look great on my butcher table in the garage.
