  5. I make sure the wood is cut for the fire at camp put in the food plots, check stands to be sure they are safe. fill propane tanks for the stove and lights load shells make several trips to the range to practice buy food for camp check out trails and remove debris ENJOY MYSELF
  6. I started using cameras last year. I put it out I saw a buck I wanted to hunt, and I stuck to him. I passed a lot of younger deer, and I held out. I never did get him, the neighbor did. So I never fired a shot last year. Honestly that was fine with me. So I am on the fence with the cameras. I go once a week or so and check the pics and enjoy looking at the pics. I truly enjoy them. I still hunt with my old fashioned choices, but I did get into the picture business.

    hey

hey all. I am getting ready for season. It starts for me a week from Saturday for muzzleloading. I spent my summer spreading the word how we need to get rid of this foolish safe act, so not much time for the bow, so I am not using it this year. I am taking the week of muzzleloading and the first week of regular season off. Looking forward to it

  9. I have requested to be banned form the site. I can not deal with the hypocritical know it all attitudes here any longer. Best of luck to all.

  12. Criminal negligence is negligence which requires a greater degree of culpability than the civil standard of negligence. The civil standard of negligence is defined according to a failure to follow the standard of conduct of a reasonable person in the same situation as the defendant. To show criminal negligence, the state must prove beyond a reasonable doubt the mental state involved in criminal negligence. Proof of that mental state requires that the failure to perceive a substantial and unjustifiable risk that a result will occur must be a gross deviation from the standard of a reasonable person. Criminal negligence is conduct which is such a departure from what would be that of an ordinary prudent or careful person in the same circumstance as to be incompatible with a proper regard for human life or an indifference to consequences. Criminal negligence is negligence that is aggravated, culpable or gross. The following is an example of one state's statute defining criminal negligence: ''A person acts with 'criminal negligence' with respect to a result or to a circumstance described by a statute defining an offense when he fails to perceive a substantial and unjustifiable risk that such result will occur or that such circumstance exists. The risk must be of such nature and degree that the failure to perceive it constitutes a gross deviation from the standard of care that a reasonable person would observe in the situation.''
  13. temper tantrum umm you are attacking me, I pointed it out and you attack again. Swollen heads prevail I guess.
  14. the problem is he did not get buzzed in as first reported he broke a window and got in. Our kids need to be protected, but a false sense of security such as they had isn't working. Arm the staff teach them to be proficient with a firearm and our local school have a resource officer on duty also. He is a police sheriff officer who's salary is paid by the school. His only job is to be at school during school hours. He is in uniform and carries. He can not be everywhere at all times in the school. I could not picture some wacko breaking in where the place had more weapons than him. And if he did, it would be a short gun fight.
  15. yeah I could shove it right up your you know.
  16. haha again with the attacks. You are apiece of work. He got his answer form an officer if you took the time to read rather than go into attack mode.
  17. hmm so if he can shoot a gun on his own property, I am thinking you could cut wood on yours. Maybe a gun is less harassing than a chain saw. Good luck. I defer to the legal experts. I am sure the officer was wrong about it.
  18. I totally agree. The only one it effects is the law abiding citizen. People scream to be protected and rights get taken away. And most sit back and let it happen.
  19. legislation being introduced today to ban assault weapons. I guess they strike when the iron is hot. The media has been playing on everyone's emotions to get enough support to get it passed. Where are all the nobama wont take your guns guys now? Oh yeah sitting back grinning, or hiding their guns.
  20. depends on which mod lets their head swell and wants all the power.
  21. hmm I sent a private message said just about the same thing. power hungry for sure.
