    so far no problems, i just dont like how they changed the hammer action. my older wolf if you hold the trigger and the firing pin will stay out until the trigger is let go. the newer hammer action is a soft spring load that springs the firing pin back. it works fine, i just like the older style better. they also changed the sights from the cheap plastic ones to a better metal sight. oh... and it is much lighter than the black one. well worth the $227 that i payed for it at wally world.

    i dont use the crapy straps that come with them my 2 man stand was the 15 footer untill i added 2 more 5 foot ladders to it. and its SOLID i use 3 straps on the top and 1 on the gun rail. i also use a blind to cover it and the roof as well. its about 5 years old and i have changed the bolts every 2 years. i have 2 single ladder stands both 25 feet tall with gun rail's i also have 2 hanging stands 1 at 10 feet and 1 at about 6 feet but when im in my climer ill go up about 30 to 35 feet

    i enjoy hunting from a stand but have sat/stood on a hill also. but there is nothing like stalking a deer around a corn field in the pooring rain.

    i have been useing the G5 Montec broadheads 125 grain i like the fixed blade and its easy to sharpen.

    i smoke unfortunately when im in my tree stand i smoke, and it never seems to spook the deer. the last 2 years i smoked 2 deer with my bow wile smoking..

    i would say just try it. and buy a good grinder. you will probly have more ground meat the first time till you get it down.

    i would love to see a bear out back of my place when i lived in the southern tier i would see tracks, and often but never saw the bear
