Debated selling it. Sometimes I think it’s worth holding on to in the event I had a problem with thermal. -
Someone has a deal on a top notch kill light for sale in the hunting classifieds. lol

You spent 10yrs training in China? That's some serious dedication there.

I don’t know Jerry. Maybe greater scrutiny if you apply again? Hasn’t impacted me in 30years.

https://allpredatorcalls.com/wicked-lights-a67ic-3-color-in-1-night-hunting-gun-light-kit-for-coyotes-foxes-bobcats-and-hogs/ I am selling this light but without batteries and charger (which can be bought from allpredatorcalls for $39). Keeping a head lamp that uses the batteries. This light is like new, works awesome and includes everything listed except batteries and charger: 1 x A67iC 3 Color-In-1 Full Intensity Control Light with Patented Center Axis Rotary System Includes 3 center axis LED's in one light (1 x Green, 1 x Red, 1 x White) - see details below! 2 x Li-Ion Rechargeable Batteries (NOT INCLUDED) 1 x 2-Position Smart Charger with A/C & DC Charge Adapter (NOT INCLUDED) 1 x Quick Detach Adjustable Light Mount 1 x 1" and 30mm Scope Mount with Picatinny Rail 1 x Standard Intensity Control Rheostat Tail Cap 1 x Coil Cord Intensity Control Rheostat Tail Cap 1 x Rubberized Halo Shield 1 x Premium Storage and Carry Case Normally $249 and I will sell it for $140. I note that it also makes a great tracking light come deer season. Very bright and batteries last a very long time. $140 - prefer local pick up or we split shipping.

I was denied a pistol permit on my first application. It was my fault, I was 19 or 20 and the app asked if you were ever arrested, along with disposition and court, etc. I was too lazy to look it up (charged with assault when I was a bouncer in college) and simply said no since charges were dropped. That didn't work. I guess I could have appealed or applied later but decided I would not likely carry anyways. Good thing they let me practice law. lol

American Tactical Omni Maxx Hybrid AR
moog5050 replied to grampy's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I like two point with rifle laying on my chest or over back. Tried single point this weekend to copy @TreeGuy. Pro is that its easy to detach rifle from sling for use on tripod without pulling the sling over your head. Con for me was that I felt a bit constrained having the sling on the whole time (being oversized I feel constrained often so it probably just me) and the rifle tip sat a bit low for my liking while walking. I have a larue sling that converts to pretty much any configuration you could want with QD attachments. -
Do they have open fields or planning to hunt timber?

That SOB. Revenge is best served cold!

Lots of really good folks on this board grampy, including you, that share knowledge without asking anything in return. Without that I would still be trying to kill my first deer or predator. Dino went above and beyond. Heck @TreeGuy has not only been trying to teach me what he knows when it comes to predators (which is a ton) but opens his land and always pushes me to shoot despite my protests that it’s his turn. There is no doubt that all of the folks sharing knowledge, despite some differing opinions, are the epitome of sportsmen and women.

I would guess domestic too but no collar. Beautiful animal.

Sold sold sold. Zelle is actually easier than PayPal. -
Thanks all. Good to know. I was expecting less but never chronoed a rifle before.
-
It’s premium ammo so I will just go with average. I doubt I will ever shoot near the distances that the scope is intended for anyways but I figured I might as well get it right. It’s about 150fps faster than Quigley Ford estimated so I am glad I chronoed first.
-
For those that regularly chrono rifles. Just chronographed my 6.5 with the 143 eld-x for a scope that I am having made. Ranged from 2648 to 2669. Is a 20fps range normal for manufactured ammo. Just want to be sure my Caldwell chrono is reliable enough.

I never even thought about it. So glad Dino did!

I will try to set up for Zelle. Never used it but BoA must offer it -
@dinorocks was very kind in skinning the yote and fox we shot in Team WooBoo’s first predator hunt this year. It was greatly appreciated. But then he shocked me with a surprise doing euro mounts of both. They are really really neat and well done. You can tell there was some serious time invested. And what a great job! Not sure of your method but it works very well. Thanks Dino for a completely unexpected gift. You do rock.
