Kind of an unfair comparison if you ask me. Right now used cars are selling for higher than they ever have, but even then value is subjective as we were mentioning before. I believe Toyota is the best value of all, but that's just me.
-
When did you sell your truck?
-
I've never seen a King Ranch, so ill have to take your word for it. But among the lower trims, ram is better than the rest. I believe King Ranch is the highest trim available?

I need to get on that before they dry up as well! I always wanted a ww2 Garand

Things changed a lot in 30 years. Companies that were once great are a shadow of what they were in the 90's. Ford has still remained good, but the others I would beg to differ at this point. I think Toyota has caught up fairly well with the luxury aspect, but still slightly behind ford. Ram takes the cake on luxury in a truck.
-
Agree to disagree on the cheap part of it though. I find it hard to use cheap with a company well known to be the most reliable company in the world, when talking about their cars as a whole.
-
I agree, drive what you like and what makes you happy. Just a friendly conversation here, that's all. Changing oil and filters regularly definitely helps with every companies reliability. For sure, Toyota had its share of issues early on with rotting frames, but I think they've gone way past that. They were definitely behind on the luxury aspect of trucks and it did feel cheaply made on the inside, but they also had a reputation for being built like tanks. No company is perfect, they all have their issues. I do believe the Toyotas are slightly smaller than the American truck companies, but I'm not sure by how much.

Like everyone else said, Its the reliability that wins me over every time. I have 230,000 miles on my current Toyota, so I'm hoping to replicate that with the truck. Ford is the best American truck company IMO, but still pales in comparison to Toyota when it comes to reliability. Toyota is behind with technology as usual, but that doesn't bother me that much. Id never own a Chevy or Ram outside of a lease. There's a reason Toyota is the biggest car company in the world and they keep their value

Congrats on the new truck! I've been having a hell of a time getting a test drive for the Tundra. If I was leasing, I would get a Ram for sure. Since I want to buy, I want to get the Tundra.

I brown mine like crappy mentioned and finish in a stew. Easily my favorite cut of meat after back strap. For stew, there is no greater cut of meat for me. After a couple hours on the pot, all the connective tissue breaks down and becomes very tender. I suggest trying it again. If you really don't like them, you can always give them to the dogs

I'm always game for some hunting!

They said its so big its going to take a few surgeries to get it done. A couple nurses came in to take pictures for "research purposes", whatever that means

Update on the guy that stole my friends deer. I sent the DEC officer pins of where the gut pile was, and he was able to find it. I haven't heard the whole story yet, but the guy basically admitted that he took the deer. His story was that he shot a deer, gutted it and thought that was his deer so he took it. Obviously its a complete lie. He knew he missed those deer he shot at and he found a deer that was gutted and had a drag rope attached to it -

We knew where the guy was parked. You have to have a reservation to hunt during the shotgun season, so his name is at the check station -

They know where the deer is. Guy didnt get a chance to butcher it before the DEC showed up. This deer has a muzzleloader shot to the right shoulder with no pass through. This guy was using a 12 gauge so there's no way to confuse the size between the two. -
Pheasant in region 3

Cranberry is very tough. Guy who lives across the street hunts every day with his english pointer and knows when birds are stocked. He also brings friends and someone told me people pay him to take them out. I would hit stewart -

So we drive the hell out of the property so when we shoot one we hang it in the woods and swing back to pick it up later. Done that for years and years and no one ever took any deer. This guy took it from a tree we had it hanging on, in the property. Usually cause you have to register every deer you shoot there with the check station -

Interesting last couple days for me. Sunday started our shotgun season here on Long Island. We were able to get reservations for sunday and today to hunt. To make the story short, I ended up shooting 2 deer yesterday with my muzzleloader and I got 1 deer today. my friend got one last night and shot 4 today. Another friend of mine got one tiny doe and a giant half rack buck. it was one of the bucks i was chasing. 4 1/2 year old deer from what the DEC biologist said. Shame it didnt have the full rack cause it was one hell of a deer. All in all we get 3 yesterday and 8 today. Unfortunately someone stole one of our deer. DEC located the guy and now were going though the lengthily process of proving this is our deer and he stole it. DEC is going to take a sample of the gut pile and match its DNA. POS this guy is to steal an already gutted and hanging deer -
I believe it! Very much out of my price range lol, but it sure did look nice in the image I saw. Id love to get into one though
