  1. i hear ya... i had a mid size so after i bought my land i decided i needed to step into a full size. I also need it for the house as well. It stunk for me all bow season to drive my truck around for deer season with NO HEAT lol. my windows were always fogging up and when it was cold outside it was freezing in the truck, it was just not fun lol
  2. Well the little S-10 is gone and i bought a full size. i got a 2004 Nissan Titan, its not brand new but new enough for me. I love it, very powerful 5.6, very roomy and its really clean. although it has 80k miles the interior looks like no one sat in it. The truck drives like a car its so smooth... Cant wait to throw my monster deer in the back this year! lol
  3. getting tickets tonight anyone going to be there Sunday?
  4. he seems to have a close minded statement WNY... just because hunting near houses where deer are not as timid does not mean its not equally as hard closing the gap on a deer. IMO in cases like that natural funnels between houses can give an added advantage along with deer being used to human scent BUT if humans seldom venture into the woods it does not mean a deer can not pick out a scent that USUALLY is seldom present. Its a give or take, each spot varies from one to another but for he most part i dont find city hunting to be any different AND OR less of hunting then "big woods".

good job! i want to go to iowa!! lol
  7. yeah im sure many guys go in and shed hunt that place... i see monsters everywhere in there. 2 150s with their racks still? thats awesome!
  8. good deal! its so strange to see them with head gear still lol
  9. yeah its been about 2-3 weeks since those other bucks i see all the time dropped. this 8 point ive seen about a month ago and i was shocked he still had both sides on. i was going to go in there about 2 weeks ago to shed hunt but been buisy. i did see 3 guys walking around in there so i assume they were shed hunting. i might go in there this weekend
  10. They are 15ft away along the fence i can see everything... A few weeks ago when they fell i can see the holes with the blood where they fell off
  11. On my way to the gym i saw about 30 deer in the field and one was a big 130" 8 point! i was so surprised to see the buck with his head gear still. The body was massive also. the past few weeks in the same spot i noticed all the bucks had no racks and then i saw this guy around 5pm passing the state park... figured id share
  12. Teds methods are rather unorthodox to say the least but he drives the point home and unlike many put under pressure, he still manages to get his point across... i know its a love hate relationship when it comes to Ted and i was not a big fan of him BUT having said that i CAN NOT hate a man who fights for our right to own a gun more then any individual out there. He has put more time and effort into fighting for that right then anyone i know and for this i can respect the guy...
  13. Next will be meat crops... plant pieces of meat in a field and watch it grow, needs decent water and full sun to grow a good steak.
  14. nice buck, hope you catch up with him this season
  15. Nutty indeed but it amazes me on how strong their following is and how much they actually accomplish... on the FLIP side of that, its VERY scary...
