word to the wise, people at the pumps are packing more then you know... in a craze like this you would be surprised. My buddy about crapped his pants while on line with the hand tanks to fill when a guy walked to the front of the line and cut the guy who was next to fill, when the guy cut him he turned and said im next because this says so and he moved his shirt and had a pistol in his pants the guy who was next said no your not and moved his shirt and said this says otherwise and mine is legal and he was carrying also. the guy who cut then went to the back of the line. my buddy said he thought a shoot out was about to go down right in front of his eyes over 5 gal of gas.

a buddies friend shot a giant 8 point this AM

i took off work today and tomorrow but the past few hunts were so bad i went in to work lol... very cold out today on LI. one of my buddies friend shot a giant 8 point this AM at first light.

i usually always and only sit the full day. i rarely will ever go out for just a morning hunt or evening hunt unless i really have to get something done at home.

Nothing but a 6 point at 2pm and turkey up the wahzoo... This is depressing

I hit the Hess station yesterday on 83 (north side service road). Filled 2 cars and 4 5 gal tanks in under 3 hours time and that's driving each car there n back by myself. That Hess was mobbed

In my stand , drove out to my furthest spot where I missed that big 8. Hope it pays off and wasn't a waste of gas. Nice cold morning!

Went to get gas with the truck but did not have enough gas to sit inline. Ran home got the other car and 2 5 gallon tanks and waited in line. Waited inline and filled up in 1 hour. Ran home put 5 gal in truck went back waited and fled up within an hour 10. Not bad!! deer here I come

It didn't look like him Pete but the one I saw was huge and had great mass! Pushing over 200lbs at the hoof

Woke up at 3am to go gas hunting, there is nothing! Lines are atleast a half mile long and people are actually sleeping on a line in their cars for a supposed gas delivery at 3 stations that I saw for over 15 hours!! You got to be kidding me. I can't find gas anywhere...

Anyone been out? I'm out now saw a doe and yearling... Went in to check on my stand after the storm and make sure everything was good. As approached my stand I noticed standing right underneath is at 12:30pm was a giant. No now in hand just went in to make sure all was ok and much to my surprise he was standing right there. He walked off smelling around but atleast I saw a big one during the day

No matter how bad you have it, someone always has it worse... Very sad on what some are enduring right now

Guns have been loaded since storm hit... 9mm is always close to me. I'm not getting caught with my pants down...

Well had power throughout storm so I decided yesterday if go drop my generator off to my parents and.literally not 30 minutes later Lipa shut my power off to work on poles and never turned us back on... So nice of you lipa thank you!! What crap...

Wow those winds were unreal!! Trees down, limbs down... What a mess. It could have been worse over here so thank god it wasn't. I feel bad for my uncle on the south shore in west Babylon, right on the water. Sunday at 5pm before anything started happening, his street already had 6" of water . By yesterday before he evacuated the water was up to his front stoop!

I never even shoot the practice heads, ever... I shoot my field tips when I practice. Those heads fly exactly like my field tips there is no difference what's so ever. I tend to blame myself unlike most guys who blame their equipment first. Could be possible you bumped your bow in the field. I've never heard of missing a target by 2 feet right after you sighted in with the practice heads, kind of suspect.

Move your sight up and to the right alittle bit. Your group looks consistent in that spot
