no hes down here on the island... i really wanted to donate a deer this year also, if i take a doe later in the season i may just bring it to him and just hope he does the right thing and the meat gets to where its needed.

i descent my towels and i also have a lotion/body deodorant made by scent blocker that i put on after i dry off. i put it in my hair and whole body. good stuff.

ill tell ya, these past 3-4 weeks have been brutal... for me atleast. ill be lucky if i even see anything with antlers at this point. opening day and the second weekend were great for seeing deer for me, seems like it came to a screeching halt. Any chasing ive seen was done by small scrub bucks just exercising does and even that i only have seen about twice. me and my buddies all see to say week after week "it will happen this weekend" things will pickup but we sound like broken records lol im seeing mostly yearlings and does with the exception to that small 6 point last sunday. hope you guys are seeing better movement. saw 10 deer today throughout the day, all different times. all doe and yearlings... hopefully tomorrow our luck changes. goodluck guys!

I agree, I would try every way humanly possible to not disturb that buck if he's living in and around that property. A hot doe taking him else where is out of our hands tho but I would not pressure that buck. He is a monster, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I shot a deer like that lol

well put doc... There are guys who do not know better and one can only learn from it. I've been noticing many new hunters on this forum so it's food for thought for them...I don't know why anyone can still argue the fact "oh we don't know where the hunter was aiming" well, if you followed the hunters harvest post he specifically said he was aiming for the chest. Hmmm, I guess at that point we do need a camera man to determine if it's true? Lol I'll take his word for it, clear as day...
