Yeah its looking the long way down one of our larger hayfields... Yeah nice big male, hope to nail him come fall... and yes I cant wait!!! I have a stand about 100 yrds to the right right in the corner of the field...

LOL doin work wont get you hunting land from me... unless your a friend... im kinda a tightwad in that area cause of all the poachers that we have around here... the farm is a dangerous place to work and you do need to be careful... ive never (surprisingly) had a broken bone yet but im not counting on keeping that good score all my life... +1

Its a great idea!!! +1 +1 LOL Yeah... i'd just go w the canoe then you can always take a friend along... also it is very easy to load a deer in a canoe (much more so than lifting it into a truck bed anyhow...) just drag it up on the bank and flip it on its side, roll the deer in, flip back upright, launch.... and no ive never done it... lol just my mental imagery of doing it... lol

+1 +1 +1 A gun is easier for a kid too use... i personaly think it is STUPID that in NYS you can bowhunt at 12 and gun hunt at 14... i think it takes MUCH more skill to kill a deer with a bow than gun! thanks to our #$^%$ laws in NYS I couldnt hunt untill i was 14 even tho i wanted too!!!
