This camera has TERRIBLE battery life (im talking about less than a week per set...) so I decided to make a charger for it... its an old laptop cord that I cut... it will be connected to a 6V battery and the battery will be strapped to the tree... (still figuring out that system...) the silicone is where i used too have a wire going in... that system wasnt very good and it looked bad so I screwed a short bolt into it from the inside and siliconed around it... it works... -

I dont bother with predictions... i just go and hunt like crazy... learned that from Greg Gutshchow (NAHC) he said he will ALWAYS bet on the guy who spends more time in the woods rather than the guy with calls/scents predictions ect ect ect...

+1 thats what i did on a few of mine... not bow stands only gun at the edge of crop fields... was it locked on the tree? im a total lock fanatic and will NOT put out a trail cam without a lock on it... even tho its on our own private/posted land... And by lock i mean heavy duty chain or cable around the tree and a heavy duty Master lock on the cam... i have not done any lock boxes yet but if i was on public land i would... plus i write my name/address several spots on the cam and on one of them I engraved my name in it...
