  1. My dad has a 2005 King Quad 500. It's a great quad!
  2. Thanks guys. Ohio was a sleeper state years ago but not anymore. NR tags are only $150. The season is very long but it's a one buck state and a short shotgun season and I think both key. They also have quality habitat.
  3. Just wondering how many own hunting land?
  4. Got my Mount back. Emmi from Eastern Taxidermy does our work. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pict.
  5. Pat, sorry but I don't comprehend your posts? U want feeders used during hunting season or year round? If year round who maintains the feeders? Some people don't live near their hunting camp.
  6. FullDraw and QDM, do you feel the original muzzy heads where better? I feel the quality was better when they first came out JMO.
  7. I shot many heads over the years but Slick Tricks get my vote. Very tuff head. Pick them up, if you don't like them I will buy them from you(100grain)
  8. I wish more guys did the same.
  9. 2009 Bowtech Admiral for sale. 70lbs limbs, right hand. Shot less than 100 times. In excellent condition. Will try and post picture. TYD $450.00usd
  10. MeatMuzzy, some questions for ya....what's your ph? How will you prepare seed bed? What's your deer density? What's your goal, Nutritional or harvest plot? Like Gman said, it's hard to get soybeans or sunflowers established on 1 acre. The plotsaver works but you need to apply every 2 weeks.
  11. I second the Slick Tricks. They have a cut on impact called Razor Trick. I took many deer at 45lbs, she will be fine. Practice.
  12. Geno, I got him during the season but only at night. My property is part of his home range just need him to mess up next year
  13. Only got him during the day pre and post season. They get smart when they are mature. Once the snow is gone going to do some shed hunting.
  14. went up to camp to check camera and coyote hunt. Didn't hunt do to 70mph winds but got a nice healthy 10pt still holding end of Jan. His body still looks big and deep tarsal staining. Looks like the soybeans did their job!
  15. How many acres and is it all one block? What's the minimum for archery, 130" and is that net or gross?
  16. Deer love those narrow strips, why not plant one in clover, and the other two brassica, oats or wr? And plant the larger fields in apple and pear. Adams county nursery in pa has great stock!
  17. Maybe they could dart and tag all the state allowed "shooters" now that's funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. It had nothing to do with them walking my land.....my question was how will dec implement this huge task and who has the ultimate say on where the feeders are placed? I wouldn't want the state to have control over feeders being placed on my land.
  19. also, since most of the land in NY is privately owned how would DEC set them up?
  20. Pat, how would you control disease? When new food(corn) is introduced to deer it can take up to 6 weeks before they develope the proper microbs to digest it? Also, I believe these microbs aren't produced in the winter months.
  21. Sorry It was 3 not 4 Just wanted to correct it.
