The thing is, just like noted in the email above is that most in our state have never experienced it. If you hunted them with the aid of a good retrieving dog you would come unglued. It is about as much fun as you can have with a shotgun in your hands. The weather can be spectacular, the shooting unreal, working with a dog, banging away with a sweet handling 20ga, FINE table fare.........and you can do it with friends, laughing and chit chatting the whole time as you relax on your 5ga swivel seat bucket. My old pooch is pretty much out of the retrieving business unless it is an old glove or a stick in the yard and I don't think we'll get another after she is gone, UNLESS we can hunt dove here in NYS. Once you figure out exactly what they look like in flight and when perched you will never make a mistake. Numerous times we have seen some kind of small hawk that looks a little like a dove in flight but after a few times you won't mistake them. I've mentioned before that after hunting them a bunch of times whenever you see them in the off season they will always bring a smile to your face. They are a really neat game bird.........................

Thanks for the advice but dad has other guns and gave it to me to peddle. The funds from this and some more are going to some glass for a new deer rifle I got him.

Now with nobody on except me, here are the numbers: ping 64 ms DL 1.00 UL 0.34 and it went tons faster but those numbers still suck.....................

I just ran that speed test and got this.......ping 719 ms DL speed 0.34 UL speed 0,23 I bet that isn't good. THEN I went upstairs and found that my daughter was on Netflix right now and has been for 20 minutes and my son was on who knows what. I raised some heck with them and they are both off now, I'll check the speed again.....

As I stated before, ALL devices were FUBAR. How can it be anything BUT the DSL service? We DO have Netflix and I know when my daughter is watching something as things do slow down but earlier today and last night nothing else was running. I'll give that test a shot.......

Yea, that's the deal. All "stuff" is slow or NOT moving at all when it does do it. Right now it appears to be running pretty good. I'll call Verizon tomorrow...........maybe. Actually I think it is time to give TW a jingle and see what they have to offer.

I have Verizon DSL and occasionally (RIGHT NOW) the thing comes to almost a complete halt. Does that ever happen to you with your service? It seems like it is happening more and more and I am sick of it. I don't know if they do it on purpose or not to try and nudge people into their FIOS service but it sucks. late last night it was doing it and right now also. I have been doing some serious work today (FAFSA and other important things) that take a long time and are VERY frustrating when the internet is running great, and when not running great it could push me over the edge................ JHC is it frustrating. Soooooo, does your web service slow down like this? I'm ready to tell Verizon to churn butter and move to the Cable Company. After the DISH debacle and this from Verizon I'm loosing my love..........

This is another one of dad's guns that I'm selling. Remington Express 870 12ga. 20" barrel with a extended turkey choke 2 3/4" and 3". There is a small chip out of the top of the stock right at the recoil pad, IIRC is came standard with it. Dad killed exactly three spring gobblers with it, all back in the early 90's. He probably shot a few ducks with it too, if the opportunity came up and the dog was near. Never abused and really not shot much at all. Funny thing, I don't for the life of me remember who painted it? $250 local face to face, buyer responsible for FFL check. Yes, traffic is high. And I fibbed, I think it was 6 minutes. Tried to move it on Ebay and ran it for three weeks IIRC with no love. Ya just never know! BTW, did you sell your scope you had listed here?

8" here at the airport.......drifts though over the top of the snow blower. I did my driveway, my neighbors and about 350' of sidewalk. Still snowing pretty good too.
