I have a few; 12 & 20ga and .17 caliber. I dont think they would be any good for a centerfire that gets much shooting and gets a copper fouling build up. I'll stick with my Dewey rods and bore guides for them.

I remember reading that article and others. I was just a pup then but devoured what ever I could get my peanut & butter stained hands on.................................. Used those Bear heads as well as Hilbre, Howard Hill, Zwickey, Ben Pearson etc. I remember my good friend driving one of those Ben Pearson Deadheads up into the chest of a racoon that his dog treed in broad daylight. Although it took about 5-6 shots to even hit it, when it did it did the job PDQ. Remember the ads for Browning's Serpentine? Try and sharpen that corkscrew!

Yee Haw.......it sounds like a good time. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that lovely rat tat tat of the 7 1/2 shot raining down on the tin roofs of the farmers barns......don't worry, it won't hurt anything.

I had him scored since a couple guys thought he would make B&C but he was only 72 and change.........I've only killed three but that is by far my best. Funnest hunt going IMO.

I can move anything and you'll not see any fading at all on my walls. I don't know if it is the quality of the boards and stain or what, all we've ever used on it is Scott's Liquid Gold every few years. Sometimes we shuffle the paintings around and the the deer, elk, antelope and ducks didn't all go up the day we moved in. Like Robert Plant says; Little By Little............

Sounds like a blast............ Every time I hunted them they seemed to wise up FAST, you'd get a good shoot on them early then they would stay just out of range, circling like they knew what they were doing. Have fun and enjoy that Ol Humpback!

What are the guns in question? I may (kind of like I "may" have another cookie!) be going to a gun show this coming weekend and if by chance I find one maybe I can get a phone number for you. I know one of the bigger shows at the Hamburg Fair grounds has a guy there that has a truck load of misc mags.
