That what I liked too about it... But after switching to the recurve and then having all the camera stuff it was just too much going on haha. -
DIY Filming the Hunt

Yeah I definitely hear you.. That's similar to what I started with. But then I got a muddy arm and I just never felt comfortable leaving that stuff in the woods. It was for sure cool to play back previous hunts thought. -
DIY Filming the Hunt

Filming my hunts was fun at first... But it started to take away from the little things that I enjoyed about bowhunting so much. It began to be too much work for me, at times lugging in my backpack full of camera gear with a climber. I felt like I was making too much noise at times and it took me a good 20 minutes to get set up properly. I stopped doing it because I missed just sneaking into the woods and calmly sitting there without a worry in the world. -
Well, guess ill just have to stick with buck shot.
-
Similar to that... My buddy has one, it's the older model one though I believe. Thought it would make a fun coyote gun.

Hi point 9mm rifle... Is it considered legal or illegal in NYS

I sliced some up in very thin strps.. Hit em with the tenderizer, bread them and add seasoning. Then fry them up. They were not to bad with some horsey sauce
-
Pretty sure they are illegal

Price drop 460 Obo may be willing to separate. Here's another picture -
Too hot?? Haha I' went up on two occasions and stayed in a tent. It got down to the low 30s during the night.. Talk about totally different that hunting down state. We found some fresh bear tracks and scat but never encountered any bears. It was fun though.

At this point I would really like to sell the whole set as one or minus the camera... U know u need a fluid head to attach a camera right? U want just the arm? -
That's pretty crazy... Some real nice looking beards right there
-
That's what we were thinking too. He was the biggest looking out of the bunch of four that came in. Does genetics and age basically play into te beard length and multiple beards?
-
Thanks guy I thought it was pretty special... We were trying to figure that out too wooly haha. The fan was almost full.. The bird fanned out in my profile was the bird.
-
The hooks weren't very big to be honest I didn't measure them but they had to be under an inch
-
Not sure why my photos keep getting rotated?

I wanted to share a hunt from this years turkey season... There is a nice write up on ny antlers outdoors site that my cousin wrote up. But to make a long story short we snuck in on these birds and ended up baging two with one gun. Anyways I wanted to share a pic of the tripple beard. The longest beard was six inches. I thought it was the icing on the cake to top off an amazing hunt that we will never forget.

I am thinking about selling my video set up... I would like to sell the package as a whole. It includes a muddy camera arm, canon vixia hf200 (hd), and a manfrotto fluid head. I will also include a camera case remote, charger and extra battery. This setup is legit and is super smooth. PM me if your are interested. $490 for everything. -
Anyone ever buy from Buds Gun Shop online?
MrGroundhog replied to Zem18's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I'd buy online... You can save some good cash... I think some of the local shops are a joke charging 75+ for a gun you could buy online/bass pro type shops -
How's that thing pattern?? You try it yet
-
The Sbe2 is a nice gun and I would have went with that if the price tag wasn't 1700... I liked the a5 and the maxus as well. I ended up going with the maxus which is a great gun and It fit me well. Gas guns will reduce the overall felt recoil (some may disagree). I ordered mine off line and got it ffl transferred for 25 bucks. I think that's the best route to go (others may disagree) but you do not end up paying 100 plus dollars in tax and the higher price from retail stores/shops.
