  1. I've been shooting recurve for the past couple years and love it.. Got a bear grizzly myself. Check out tradgang.com it's a really nice forum with a ton of information. If I were you I would shoot several different bows, even long bows to get a feel for what you like. Also try different poundages out. Where abouts are you located?
  2. That happened to me and my buddy last year...slid right down the tree a few feet... The teeth don't grab at all, and I can only use it on certain barked trees... Super scary
  3. Just filmed three bucks sparing all at once..chasing each other around...first time I've ever seen it! Pretty neat
  4. Don't know if it was suggested already... But is there any water in the area? I usually walk streams when having trouble tracking a hit animal, to be honest I've found that shot deer have a tendency to seek out water and then die
  5. Forgot to take the day off....
  6. Try holding the bow in your palm and don't grip the bow (causes it to torque)...your knuckles should almost be upward. This should also kick that elbow outward slightly. I'm not telling you to tweak your form right before the season, but in the future this may help. You could also cut a long sock to make a arm guard, or just buy one haha.
  7. Totally agree with this, to disagree
  8. Really trying to stick one with the bear grizzly..50# Gunna be my go to bow...i might have the pse bow madness in hand during the rut if nothing's down by then
  9. There are some great deer in here... This is my biggest buck harvested so far, shot last Thanksgiving . Not exactly sure how old he was or how much he weighed.
  10. I have 17 carbon supreme lite 250 arrows fletched with feathers cut to 29 1/2 inches. Like new, Looking to get $120 for them all.
  11. I think it's a great combo... I just ordered one in 7mm 08. I can't wait to shoot it. I forgot to mention bass pros price is 519 right now and I think another 20 bucks off for their fall classic promo going on
  12. I also have a few boxes of ammunition to go with the gun...turkey loads, slugs, a mixture of waterfowl loads. I may consider a reasonable offer..
  13. I am looking to sell my Winchester SX3 black shadow. Its a 20 gauge and will take 2 3/4 and 3" shells. The gun is in excellent condition with less than 50 shells ran through it. It comes with three chokes and the original box. $800 firm.
  14. I have a CVA optima, it shoots well and wasn't very expensive. I have no complaints with it.
  15. It contains special powers...there is a very good possibility that it will be around for this turkey season. Long beard vs porn stash
  16. Thanks everybody. We all really did bust our butts last season, and had some good luck. We are hoping the 2013 season will be similar, but with big bucks going down on film.
  17. Lol a sales mission? A few of us have been members/ viewed this forum for some time now. It was never our intention to "sell anything" or was that ever mentioned in our post. We offered FREE calls and accessories in our post. We are here for the same reasons as everyone else... for the love of the outdoors. Honestly, we just wanted our fellow NY hunters to follow along with us, and we figured this would be a good friendly place to put it out there.
  18. There are no products being sold. There are no profits for us. We are simply giving away free gear. All four of the deer shot above were free ranging deer. That were shot through hard work and dedication. The only food source that they had was the one that we planted INTO the ground in the early summer, as well as the farm land. Reed seeked us out with a proposal, we figured we would help a friend out. It does not mean that we use it or intend on using it. If you didn't know, we have a Pennsylvania sponsor, we figured Reed could sell out of state. The point is know your game laws, and follow them accordingly. Bass pro, Walmart and other companies sell similar products within New York State, it's up to you to make the proper, legal choice.
