I was just thinking about the same thing to add to a few of my stands... Then I realized why don't I just use my top section of my climber? I think it would act as a great shooting rail and would for sure be solid. I may end up doing that. -
Terrible wind for almost all of my stands... Tried a scent drag tonight and it worked pretty well had to smaller bucks come right in. This one hung out for like ten minutes and couldn't figure out what was going on. I Just haven't been seeing the big boys on their feet....

I hunted up there for three days during bear season a few years ago...never even saw a deer, it sucked the life right out of me. It is definitely extremely difficult to hunt the ADK. Congrats on an awesome accomplishment! -

I am definitely a rage advocate... I started out using g5 switched to rage and never looked back. I love how they fly just like my field tips and make a nice crack when hitting deer... Super deadly and has dropped my deer within 50 yards with great blood trails... I just wish I could shoot them outta my recurve.

My first traditional archery deer harvest...15 yard shot, beautiful double lung hit. I was using a 50 lb bear grizzly and muzzy phantom bh. I Couldn't be happier!!

I'm thinking about selling my CVA muzzleloader, that I never really got into using much. it has the camo thumb hole stock and comes with a konus scope. I also have basically everything you need to get started... Cleaning kit. Bullets, powder and caps. Looking to get 375 for everything. Sling not included.

Be prepared to not shoot deer at 25 yards haha ... That happened to me last night, she just wouldn't give me the extra couple yards.. I'll just have to think of a way to get closer next time!

I thought this was pretty neat as I have never seen bucks sparring. I filmed them messing around on October 3rd . Enjoy.

Exactly it's like an art in itself... Brace height, nock point, string twist etc. are going to shoot three under or split finger? Then u have shaft spine selection and point weight. With a recurve you really have to find out what works best for you and your shooting style. I love the challenge, That's why I find myself picking up the recurve more than my compound.
