    You could also try goose haven, located in the finger lakes. I know they do Canadian hunts but I’m not sure about snow geese.

    We did a guided snow goose hunt last spring with eastern view outfitters. He was a good dude. Check it out. He’s on Facebook etc.

    It looks like you guys are doing pretty well... We hunted Seneca the other day and only managed two mallards. There were some massive rafts of divers moving around. I think it’s been tough with this cold. Field hunting geese has been hard. I feel like we’re not seeing the numbers like we usually do in the late season.

    What areas you hunting? Sounds like You did well with ducks. It seems like the waters are freezing up everywhere. We usually field hunt for geese, but might try the lakes for some ducks. Can’t wait to get out, got the next three days off. We’re in the finger lakes area, but haven’t been seeing many birds on the open water or in. the air

    We were out for most of the day. Field hunted geese. Boy was it cold. We shot eight birds out of the two focks we had comitt. Not many birds flying, and what was flying was later in the day.

    ARe you dead set on the ar10? Not exactly sure what your specific application is going to be with the rifle. But I have a 6.8 spc and it’s a great deer round. It will fit right on the ar 15 platform. It’s nice because you can also get a 556 upper for plinking with cheap ammo.

    A lot of good suggestions in here, but do yourself a favor and go to ports. It's a couple miles south of Geneva and the food is excellent.
