    what do we think caused the whole? Gored? I'll be honest, and I'd have to think about it... I might try and leave the hole. If it could be done tastefully and not like a Halloween decoration. I'm a big believer in displaying them as they are. That buck certainly doesn't need anything extra to be super impressive on any wall, but man that really would set him off.

    yes, but unfortunately it wouldn't have changed anything for me. just a big 4 and a spike within any sort of weapon range this year. Not even a doe in range except for way back on 10/3 and it wasn't a great shot.

    i've never found amazon great for hunting prices unless it's 1 off stuff. i think midway has them cheaper but you'll need enough other crap for free shipping.

    This past weekend was awesome for the forum. Not only did many active members punch their buck tags, but many were dandies. So that leaves us peasants grinding it out into mid-November. I feel like we all need a place to hang out. Rules for this Thread: 1. Vent your brains out. Not seeing deer? Missed a shot? Can't get in the woods? Just let it all out. You'll feel better. 2. Those that have punched your tag may enter, but be respectful of our sour attitudes. We're a little testy. 3. As always, no hunter bashing.

    good luck to those out there today. it's raining and cold but not heavy rain in 8F. I can't believe I'm saying this but after grinding 5 of the last 6 days I was happy for another 2 hours of sleep and to be in the office catching up on work. It'll be just enough break to get me amped again come thursday.

    guns are worse. I spent most of my life with slugs. they don't bleed worth a sh!t. totally agree. I'm should clarify that I'm not really condoning it. There are many other variables at play. Does this hunter have a family and need the meat being one. I just felt like the reaction to it was a bit strong.

    Best way to get good at archery is to fling arrows and track blood. I’d encourage a young hunter with the right tags, resources and daylight to send it. Again also with respect to tf who I like a lot. I’m not sure 1 bow kill qualifies as good advice for what’s ethical witg regards to tracking archery shot deer. Heck my archery kills have all bled 10x that of gun except one where quartering towards and exited guts that plugged Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Happened to me at my old place. Previous owner didn’t care. I put up signs but a little deeper into the line so it wasn’t in their yards (my line) and had 3 neighbors knocking on my door that week. 2 understood and I said use it all you’d like except after September.
