Hahaha. Go reread what he typed. He bought a pin and had a slight problem. Not a sight. Did you look at other manufacturers charts too? I advise you to stop giving him advice if you get so upset with his arrow selection and choices. Lol
-
This explains a lot as to why you don't know how to determine the difference between a hard and medium cam or how to select an arrow. That PICTURE of a sight is just that, a picture. He didn't by a new sight he just used that to help illustrate his question. So is he under or over spined in your opinion?
-
Round cams are round cams, this bow from 2000 has medium cams. Medium cams and round wheels are a thing of the past now but weren't in 2000. So are you now argueing that he should shoot a stiffer spine?
-
Yup, doesn't mean he has to change arrow length though. He could keep using the current arrows even shortening them to 29 and be fine, remeber he is a broke 15 year old kid that doesn't have the funds to run out and buy a dozen more arrows to try.
-
With a spine of .400 they are perfect for him.
-
You are just jealous I gave Joe my old bow and not you. It wouldn't have fit you lil fella.
-
Stupid is right, a few arrow companies went to that assanine meaningless number system to try and show that they were different than Easton and they are all different. Gold tip uses another system altogether too although theirs is easier, they have sizes like 5575, meaning it is a one size fits all approach for bows 55-75 pounds. I pray for the day the arrows are given numbers that correlate to their spine only.
-
Maybe you should put in the proper info then. 30 inch arrow, medium cam, 100 grain head, 60 pound pull. Or you could keep arguing with the guy that used to shoot the bow for 10 years and killed a pile of deer with it, what would I know lol.
-
2216's are right on for that bow, I would know because it used to be mine lol. It's an older bow, 10 and 20 yard pins is completely acceptable for that specific bow. 15 is not needed but he will figure that out.
-
Not with beman. That's their attempt at being different. Their numbers for the description are different from the actual spine.
-
I'm not so sure the bow tech had that 100% right. Are you sure he knew it was an older prowler? I'm almost certain it had a 28 inch draw. Might want to double check that Joe.
-
Should be good, I can't recall if I used to shoot 2413's or 2315's. I know I had some cheapo Gamegetter 340's. I thought maybe you had too much arrow which would cause you to have lots of gap from 10-20. carry on..lol
-
You can also play around with arrow legnth, a half inch shorter makes a big difference in spine reaction. But that is a pain with carbon arrows unless you buy a cutter, fyi if you look for a cutter follow Fasteddie's DIY on here and get one from Harbor Freight or some place simular...way cheaper.
-
What size arrows you shooting again?
-
Most likely to heavy a head for that spine size on the arrow's you were using. Heavy heads will lesson your spine giving you issues. 100gr shouldn't give you too much problems providing the rest is tuned. I highly recomend Broadhead tuning, even after getting it back from the shop. And if all that fails go to the next stronger spine size.

Have fun in the thick stuff wit... If you come across a orange vest for a bird dog that's mine, it was so bad where he came out with out it I just chalked it up to a loss. I damn near pierced my ear on a thorn in there too, no joke. We can kill two birds with one stone postseason and you can rabbit hunt that mess with me.

Same here, couldn't tell you a total either. Not that its that many (maybe 24-30) but just I can't remember.

Spotlighting isn't illegal unless you break the rules of spotlighting when doing so.

By the way they exit out the back of that chunk kind of paralleling the power lines and road in the thick flat eventually crossing the power line's and crossing the next road in back.

I remember my father getting poison oak or something simular from that bedding area, figured it was from the vines in the tree he was set up in.

Hey Wit thanks for doing all of the scouting, I decided to go get permission for that spot again after all these years, see you opening day! lol jk

Thats why we plan on staying in waters where no motors are permitted mostly, and avoiding rough waters. Grow you could also opt for a floatation cushion over the vest, you will need a cushion for your kester any how.
