  1. Ah yes the classic anti hunting approach from hunters them selves. Next lets get rid of the trout stocking program too. To hell with something you don't partake in.
  2. Same here, no sight of any youth hunters any where.
  3. Still illegal, this is in the other thread thats going on too. Under the FAQ section there is a link to crossbow rules which is now a page saying crossbows are illegal. Will be very confusing for folks.
  4. Youth hunters are genrally far safer to be around than more seasoned hunters because the saftey aspect is still fresh in their minds.
  5. It is limited to one deer. Resident and non-resident Junior Hunting license holders may take 1 deer with a firearm during the youth deer hunt
  6. Still illegal to use no matter the season, http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/68802.html There is a link to it on that youth hunt page under the FAQ section. Why they put that on there that way I have no idea.
  7. A couple of the younger one's look to be eating very well, amazing what AG will do for a deer.
  8. Too bad you didn't have better feed for them, keep at it Culver and you will get there someday. lol
  9. They have many farms they own and hunt, no secret they run feeders. I feel bad for any dude that trys to get permission to hunt out there, thats the bad part of the direction hunting is going. Even in NY we see that, just imagine what it is like out there.
  10. Wouldn't a deer be considered 2 or 3 at this time of year instead of 2.5 or 3.5? Maybe thats why its hard to distinguish from 2 and 3 at the moment.
  11. You are starting to wear me out, I don't think Joe care's what you have to say at this point honestly. Do you know how the OT2 program decides what cams are what? By IBO speed, which is meaningless to Joe. I am done answering arrow questions for you, go stare at a Easton chart.
  12. I wonder who had to go pick up all his arrows after. Neat
  13. Boy you know how to add to a thread.
  14. Thanks, trouble making troll. Sorry I couldn't recall the DR on a bow I haven't shot in 4 years and that was in a different thread so why try to bring it into this one? Oh cause you are a troll.
  15. Mine got her work schedule at her new job for the rest of the year and the first thing she looked at was what days she could hunt. haha
  16. Yes, you could hunt on this side of the state..haha Kidding of corse, we have bucks here too, don't want to get some one fired up.
  17. Joe, wait till you get that draw mod on to shorten them up. Its a sinch with alluminum, use a small pipe cutter after pulling the inserts and then clean the burr's out of the inside and reglue.
  18. You are right, I really don't know anything about that specific bow that I shot for 10 years, its cams, arrows, hunting, shooting ect. By the way, those arrows ARE FINE! Easton is the only company that ask's about cam's which is really comical. Thats their way of being special, a .400 spine is 100% correct for him all day long especially when he shortens them. He may have some tuning issues but I am willing to bet his greater issues are from poor form and consistency.
  19. Bumping this one for the guy that was considering cutting his own arrows.
  20. I left off how I made Joe unknowingly agree to secret fee's with that bow deal, if he kills a deer in the next two seasons he owes me $300, or exclusive hunting rights to the family farm. I'm sneaky like that.
  21. And thats why you are the king of assumptions. You are able to ascertain all of that from a kid asking about adding another pin to his sight. He is shooting heavy GPI arrows, low poundage, and a older slower bow, of course it will have an arc and drop more than other set ups. He doesn't plan on exceeding his limits he set for himself (which is comendable by the way). His spine choice's are literally on the line between .400 and .350 and you are having a fit over it. He can do a few things to change that with out buying new arrows (which you apparently dont know), one he could turn the poundage down 3 pounds, two he could shorten his arrows--which Im sure he will as he is shortening his draw soon. Neither of those things will have a staggering effect on how HE shoots.
  22. Most of that $400 went to your uncle, thats what he charged to show me where your stands were. Nice guy.
  23. Are you drunk or something? He bought stuff from Cabelas....not a sight but a sight pin, glue ect. I gave him the bow...not sold. Gave means it was free in case you need a chart for that. You seem to be mixing things up or something. I do give you credit for being king of assumptions, congrats on that.
  24. Gave sold same thing I guess accourding to you. Haha I told him up front it would need tuning because I gave him all new stuff on it to get him going. I did do a quick tune and sent him pics of the group I shot with it if you really want to know too. Kinda hard to do a full tune with out him there with me. If you really think he is under spined because you think he has hard cams god bless you. I'm still laughing about you thinking he bought a new sight because he posted a pic. Lol
