  1. some IPAs that are slammed with hops to begin with can sit in a cooler for months and they'll soften a bit without too much acidity and bitterness going away. more stouts but not all stouts age well. some mellow out too much where you lose the subtle notes of flavors. stronger stouts that make you tip the bottle slow i've heard age better mellow out to something nice versus a stale drain pour. some beer bottled to age with yeast added after brewing process is meant to sit around for a bit. i'm not big on stouts but anything i've got usually sits buried in the back of a fridge versus a much warmer "cellar".
  2. i've got a bit in the fridge right now but i did think about grabbing that last time i was out. mixed reports of carbonation levels and mediocre clean finish is what held me back. maybe i'll add it to the list for next time.
  3. Ales and IPA you're pretty safe. Never know with stouts though. I honestly forgot it was that high despite I knew it was potent. Didnt realize he popped so many until i set some of my cans at the sink where he was lining up the bottles already. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. My fridge is got some of them. Affordable so that's part of my "family coming over to drink my beer" selection they can choose from. My little brother learned last time he came though. Drank all my KBS without knowing it was 12.3%. Said I poisoned him next day. Haha Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. Thought about giving that one a go. Should I pick some up? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. After the juice bombs I've moved on to Night Shift brewing Morph batch #63. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  7. Yup rockin the 12 oz cans here too. While I make some fries and ribeye. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. yea i meant to say CAN'T justify limiting out with low numbers. why i *passed birds after calling them in.
  9. all the local sled clubs around here use them with light drags to groom tight trails. they work well. lots of wear and tear during summer though leaving them on.
  10. numbers last year where low. still called in birds but past a bunch. can justify limiting out with low numbers. hopefully it's better this year and a lot of those jakes made it. last year was screwing for a hatch i feel like.
  11. one thing i'll give the glocks and kimber solo. barrel plain versus how high you can get up on the grip is noticeably different than the profile of the sig slide. still i think it'd shoot just fine based on some reviews i've seen. i don't know of anyone with one.
  12. assuming you've got both hands. it helps a lot to have a firm grip with max contact but not a strangle hold with your shooting hand. if your hand is tense your booger hook will be. my follow ups are better with a firmer grip on my support hand brought tight to the guard and breaking open hand knuckle over knuckle.
  13. p365 has tritium siglight night sights front and back. first question i had. the guy behind the counter brought me right out back to see them in the dark store room. i have them on my p226 elite scorpion and they're a must.
  14. the pm9 and sig p365 are really close to the same size. with the extended mag in the sig it was a real solid hold. still shooting it i'm sure like any close to pocket sized pistol would need a firm lower fingers or support hand.
  15. if you watch the behind the scenes stuff that looked like he got lucky and pulled it off he really didn't. intentionally fumbled some and called the shots prior to shooting. watched one episode on TV where he had a bedded doe at like 53 yards down in the timber from his stand. he thought about shooting it over and over. finally committed. drilled the thing and it didn't go far at all. when you really want to see some good shooting get someone who's really good in a fun and relaxed atmosphere like that. the pressure's off and their head and thoughts aren't screwing it all up.
  16. slide was nice to grab versus the say the kimber solo and even a couple smallest glocks of same size.
  17. trigger and reset while i didn't fire it i still pulled it many times with others and it wasn't bad. length of pull and weight. wasn't target rifle trigger crisp but still pretty good.
  18. i'll check them out again. it's been awhile since i picked up a revolver.
  19. the ones you'll handle will be a gen 2.5 basically. there were some issues that got figured out. new gun is all. everything should be more than fine now. it's based off the same design that just won the military modular pistol contract. i handled all the comparable glocks right next to it side by side. 365 was better to me. even single and double stacks. G19 is massive compared to the 365. shield was even a bit bigger i think. shield was on my short list though.
  20. simplicity is nice but that small and you go hammerless with a very long and heavy triggers. so yea i think i'm sticking to semi's. capacity is also there with a semi.
  21. that exact one is on my short list. was prior to the 365 even then. solid choice.
  22. Last night I had a couple of the wife's beers. I was reminded of why I drink my own. I knew the coffee in the one was coming despite I'm a not a coffee drinker but had to try it anyway. I enjoy all types of beer. Prefer the cigar city stuff in the fridge of hers though over coffee cup. Wheat beer was just that but it's been a long time since I've had it. Itll be a long time again.
