  1. They sure will. And it will take a couple years of destroying the young of the year before you get great results. Find Their Den! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Useless Vermin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Please get off the weather having anything to do with wild hogs. Do some research. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The state land I hunt is Shotgun only so it's nice to have my. 08 strapped inside my coat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. So it has to be at least 6 weeks to be called snowbirding in your book? Call it whatever trips your trigger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hog-Axis hunting 2 weeks in Texas and will be at Disney 2 weeks. Feb and March!.
  7. Not Really. If a deer has been fed corn from Day 1 in a feeder or pile it would still be the same. The issue with corn and deer only happens in the dead of winter in heavy snow when corn has not been in the diet and then loaded up on them and they fill their bellies with corn and can't break it down. 8. First one I have ever seen on Letchworth. Ended up seeing 3 kits a few days later in the same area. Cool Animals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. See the same thing happing by some year after year. Just not 26 pointers because we don't have any. Guys filling wives tags is no different. Many use the same tag a few times a year. Just an Amish breaking a law. No diff then a white , Black , Mexican hunter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Not at all. I have the numbers that show the support in Xbows. More hunters picked them up and more deer were killed with them then the year before. In due time you will see the numbers rise in those category's again this year I bet. Maybe just maybe that's why the harvest is higher this year? Time will tell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So the less hunters we had are the best hunters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah had to be one I guess. They had a report out in November of all license sales being down except the Senior tags so something is out of wack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Less hunters killed more animals? Of Course. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. True That. Hence many of us don't make it a habit of posting up much more then a picture of a deer that was harvested. Our land gives top bucks every year and a really special one about every 3. Keeping things on the down low is best when it comes to big antlers. But then again a few fools will try to tell ya it's not about the antlers. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Maybe. But many of us take pride in our well managed farms and hunting lands. Let them grow up in a safe haven is all that's needed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. So True. Some don't need or want the highlights for many reasons. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Some of us already have a open season year around. Make it a point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. So True. Cash is king in my world on both ends of most transactions. Plenty of cards and loans over the years to stay in high 7's in case it's needed but the greenbacks are king. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Not sure about that. I got an email the other day from DEC that they were coming out. Hope to get one.
  20. If they are dressed in the park rules orange i am sure they are not sneaking anywhere. Clueless to where they should be hunting i would agree but even the dumbest hunter is not sneaking around in a park that has 1 road and heavy patrolled in bright orange. On top of all that this fella is : Sneaking: around in 400 inches of orange on AND he has Nad's enough to carry a rifle in a shotgun only park with 1 road and pretty heavy law around while wearing 400 inches of orange while hunting in a bow only zone? After all, They cant be that dumb if they know the hunting is better in the bow only zone?
  21. Please. I can see your point of a hunter not looking at a map first. But to say they tried to sneak up into the campgrounds or out front in the bow only area wearing orange is a stretch. Its more fun to watch the camo bow hunters sneaking into the "Safety Zone" really.
  22. Thats because Texas knows how to manage their herds and do what it takes to keep all classes of deer on those ranches. In Texas a landowner can buy and release high fence deer and their great bloodlines onto their ranches for folks to hunt. It Show's.
  23. Most times you can just drive it and hear any bearing issues. Drive down the road, if there is bearing noise going straight turn the wheel slightly left and if the noise gets louder it's your right bearing bad...Turn right and it gets louder it's you left side bad. Drive down a quiet road of course or a cop might think your drunk turning left and right back and forth going down the road. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Don't listen to the Input from the dickh&@ds and hunt where and how you wish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
