it's all for the best. Our gear is very personal so it's like putting a good friend away for the year. It also signals that hunting season is really over!!!

Turkeys are fun. There's a hundred ways to ruin a turkey hunt, but you can never go wrong with busting the flock and trying to call them back in. If it doesn't work, it's still funt o tell your friends how you snuck up as quiet as possible just to run in screaming and hollering making so much noise it ruins deer hunting for your ancestors..... Good luck. Enjoy the woods.

hum.... not sure there is anything else to say. I will never side with more laws, its obviously NOT working..... and is counterproductive.

To tag or not to tag..... If it were me, I'd tag and live to hunt another day. Do what you feel is right because you ultimately have to answer to yourself. The hardest person you will ever lead in your life is YOU. It may be a lesson learned for others to live by. Good luck with your choice, but know ultimately it is yours to make.

happens everywhere unfortunately. I couldn't figure out why the neighboring properties were shooting so much during archery season. And it's amazing the difference a shotgun sounds like compared to a muzzleloader.

you can also run a temporary electric fence. -
seen plenty of deer ticks this year as well. I hate them..... nasty. funny how we spend very little time in the woods and get ticks almost immediately. The deer I shot only had one on him..... seems like they should be over-run with them as they are out there all the time. go figure

You earned it. It always tastes better when you earn it. Congratulatiosn again.. I am taking my 10 year old daughter out this upcoming weekend for the first time while I muzzle load deer. I'm more looking forward to having ehr out with me than I am about killing something. Memories.... it's the best flavor of meat!
