i had a guy walk up to my pick up truck that was parked on my property, in the pitch black, wearing camo, carring a rifle in his hands. i got out of my truck and asked him what he was doing here, and he turns arounds and goes what are you doing here. then he tells me he owns this land and that i should leave. meanwhile he just walked past a POSTED sign with my name on it. after all this he doesnt believe that the name on the sign is my name so i show him my drivers license. he realized he was screwed so tryed being nice about it, and turns to me and says well are we going in, its getting light out. i told him your not going anywhere near my property and if you dont leave i will call the authorites. he begged a little but then finally gave up and went home. i couldnt believe wat an a** this guy was.

thank god you were running late that day, everything happens for a reason. its sad to say but you were very lucky. if you got into the woods in the dark who knows what could have happened. be safe all.

sometimes i do, one year while walking down a trail to set up a stand a doe came flying onto the trail and stoped 10yrs from us, she started stompping and huffing, then finally took off. it was a week or so before the bow opener. like everyone esle said at least he got to see some deer.

its definitly getting closer, i guess we'll have to be out there and try our luck, good luck guys

thats exactly what i thought, its sad someone would do that, someone would go out of thier way to do something like that which in the end could have cause you and your family lots of pain and suffering. if you can post some picture so we can get a better idea of what this low-life did to your stand.
