I can't speak for myself as I'm single but my mom practically kicks my dad out of the house for hunting season. He's more of a "social hunter" in recent years but my mom still won't let him come home till at least Tuesday after opening day

My grandpa had a red dot on his smooth bore shot gun. He shot one deer with it 75 yard shit on a moving deer abd he dropped it in it's track

Driving home from camp I spotted this groupthen about another 100 yards down the road saw a lone hen with poults that were no bigger then baby chickens very late birth. Then towards then end of the road I saw another good size flock of hens. Saw prolly close to 40 birds on less then 5 miles

Crossbows may be used to take deer during:early and late muzzleloader season in the Northern Zone and late muzzleloader season in the Southern Zone using Bow/Muzzleloader tags, deer management permits (DMPs), deer management assistance permit tags (DMAPs), or an unfilled Regular Big Game tag (late season only); Can you do this with a muzzleloader as well? (Not sure if I can reply to this thread) -
Cabelas has a spitfire on sale right now for 129.99 was thinking of picking it up but the wildfire is only 199.99. Anyone have either and can help sway me in either direction

I have used them they work good at night during the day they can be tough to see. If you do use them put them on both sides of the tree so you can find your way out of your spot as welk

Just curious how many stands you have on your hunting property and home many acres you have. My property we have 8 total but 4 latter stands 2 hang ons a shack and a platform stand looking to add a few more though

I'd take a look at a bear or a diamond. In the past I would have said look for a used bow but I did that last year and after the cost of the bow and to get it tuned up at the shop I'd look at a new bow

I have a tripod stool that I use with a back rest. I also will use my turkey vest or I'll just sit on a log or if it's really cold and I have my carhart bibs on I'll just sit in the snow

Have a single buck on cam? I have had 4 cameras out for a while now and haven't see a buck on them since may. I have tons of pics of fawns and does and other critters. Anyone else have a similar situation. I'm not too worried because I have enough does on my property to bring some bucks in I just want to see some velvet
