I have a nursery who needs help keeping deer away from the spring plants for sale. They put out a display for the coming warm weekend and the deer crushed it last night. Haven’t fished there in years. I used to park on the top of some trail and walk all the way down down down the hill. Not bad on the way in but sucked on the way out. I always wonder how to feel about that “wife didn’t even know it was venison” comment. I enjoy venison too much to “waste” on those who just want chop meat. My feeling is if i want it to taste like beef, I will cook beef..that’s a hell of a lot easier to get than venison especially since I suck at hunting!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I either throw them in the trunk (Chevy equinox-hate this f’ing car!) or use a rack. Rack is annoying because it folds up and blocks the access. I hang any deer right in my backyard(no suitable trees in the front) in Westchester county (20 min from Manhattan and loaded with bleeding heart libs). Last night out with Mrs Crappy Pictures live up to my name! Grilled Octopus and greens: Duck breast; potatoes au gratin; spinach Carrot cake: Wife had a pear/arugula salad and a mushroom risotto. Meal was good but “good” bothers me when I’m out dropping $150 on a meal(wife had a glass of wine- I’m on the wagon). My wife and I could and have (minus the duck which I wasn’t impressed with to be honest) make each of those better. Just not worth it to me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just about 13 year old Brittany, Trico this last fall season. He has been an amazing dog...mostly a house pet but when he gets his time outdoors his nose is great and his drive was awesome. Would have been easily trained but I was too lazy and I wouldn’t be able to hunt him as much that would validate the time to get him real steady. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
