im with bubba on this one. there are to many variables to tell the difference between a 12ga and 20ga. Anything from barrel length to size shell 2 3/4 or 3" are they on a hill or in a valley is it windy or still? You could go on and on. Shotgun vs rifle thats a different story.

Was that 12ga low brass bird shot or high brass, slug, or buck shot?

i talked about a corn lot and asked a question about brush hogging it. I hunt several fields some with corn some with rye ect.....again nothing against food plots, i repeat nothing against food plots. If your still having trouble reading it let me know i can gladly sound it out for you.

Yes he showed proof of insurance by a piece of paper. Im looking at my insurance card right now and it says its vaild through Aug. 2013, now i still have payments due before Aug 2013 if i stopped paying my insurance dont you think they would cancell me way before Aug 2013, and do you think the insurance company is going to come get my little piece of paper that i have stuffed in my glove box that still says im vaild. And your story about the registation lapse i agree you may not even know that it happened and you should def. blame the insurance companies for that mix up. 13BVET it sounds like you got a very fly by night insurance company that really did screw you. Either that or they are REALLY disorginized, but in most cases its due to lack of payment, or switching insurance companies causing an insurance lapse.

When you say they just knock it down do you mean stalk and ear of corn? Because if so i beleive that is illegal. I was told by DEC that you must make an attempt to harvest the crop and that you cant just use a brush hog to mow it down and scatter corn every where. This was during goose season too so maybe its different for waterfowl.

Still havent dared step foot back in the woods/fields my ankles are finally looking normal again but my trail cameras havent been checked in awhile. I did spot up a few fields late last night seemed unusually quiet though.
