Been using a retract-a-drag for several years and I would highly recommend! http://www.cabelas.com/scent-accessories-retract-a-drag-combo.shtml It is the ultimate! Scent pad is self contained, pull out the plastic tab, the line is 6'+ long, when you're done you just wind the line back in like a little fishing reel! The line never gets tangled up, you don't get your scent on the scent pad or line, and it's all self contained when the lid is on, so you're not smelling like doe uring when you get home! I use to use a string and cloth method, but it sucked, especially when the line got tangled, and I needed to handle the line to untangle and would get my scent on the line! BTW, I see Walmart has them for $10.54 online.

I wish word would get to my bucks (in 8F) that they are "suppose" to be chasing does and getting goofy now! NOTHING!! Bucks aren't moving (during daylight hours anyway) , I've only had 1 pic of a buck moving during daylight hours in the past ~3 weeks, I haven't seen a buck since Oct. 31st, does and fawns are moving around like normal with NO bucks in tow, etc... WTH?? I'm starting to think all my bucks have gone gay, not that there's anything wrong with that....

OMG!!! Awesome Video Of The BIG Boy!!!

Well Biz, first off, I did not ask for your opinion or thoughts on my hunts. This post was to share a cool buck video. I have a wife, kids, each kid plays fall sports, full time job, a house, many other obligations, and a kid that was injured and had to have surgery. My wife can't take time off from her work, so 2 weeks of my time has been the primary caregiver for my son (who can't get out of bed or a recliner by himself). Hunting is my hobby, not my life. I get out as often as I am able to and if it's only for 2-4hrs each time, I am greatful for that. Frankly, you can take your elitist attitude and go............ I'm trying!! Been out 37x and have logged 104hrs in the stand in the past 39 days! -
Its been absolutely dead for me in 8F. Haven't had a daytime pic now in 3 weeks or so. Getting good pics and videos at night though of mature bucks out cruizing. Just not seeing any rutting activity and little to no movement during the day though.

My Rage broadheads shoot exactly like the practice heads and my fieldpoints, 100%. The one and only time I had a broadhead shoot 2' off was because I was using a worn O ring and the blades were deploying in flight. I use to have a quiver and my blades kept opening on that one broadhead that I had problems with. I just kept snapping them back into place, not realizing I was just causing damage to the O ring. The O ring must be new and not cracked, used, or worn in order to lock the blades in place during flight. If you open the blades, then keep snapping them shut, it makes micro tears/cuts in the O rings and weakens them.

Couple videos of young buck(s) chasing. I'm not seeing much action during the day, but looks like things are picking up out there at night...
