Got another video of the nice broken racked buck working a scrape. Damn shame....

Got a cool little video of a curious buck! (Turn up the volume...)

Why do you keep referring to grey fox as "dogs"?
-
Nice bear! Congrats!!

Tell him that trapping season is coming up and you would hate to have one of his dogs get caught in a fox or coyote trap, while they're out running loose. Make it sound like you're looking out for him and his dogs...

I needed a good pair of insulated boots for this season and picked up a pair of Muck Boots Artic Pro Camo. They are rated down to -60. Compared to every other insulated boot that I've owned (2000gr thinsulate), they seem to weigh about half as much, they are much less "clunky" and combersome, and they are much more comfortable! I ordered mine from a dealer on Ebay for $130 (free shipping too). They are a little higher now. http://www.ebay.com/...=item2a1a55d026 I bought mine ~8 weeks before season to leave the set outside to get that "new" odor off of them. It took about that long too! If you plan on using this season, you better order ASAP. I even started wearing mine in the woods, while hiking, trimming, and working just to help wear the new odor off of them and have them start smelling more "woodsey". I would certainly recommend these boots!

It's broken. Damn shame too... -
I've gotten a couple pics of this guy over the past week or so. Great buck by looking at his profile, until he turned his head and faced the cam and saw he has most of his drivers side rack broken off!! DAMN!! He would have had a nice high and wide rack too! Just got a few videos of him and thought I would post a couple. If he makes it through the season, he'll be a bruiser next year!!

I stopped wearing my glasses hunting many years ago, due to them fogging up. The last time I wore them, I was trying to bloodtrail in a thicket after dark, and the glasses fogged up so bad that I couldn't see my hand in front of my face! It was horrible and I swore I would never wear glasses hunting again. Strictly contacts! I have some kind of eye funk going on and the eye doctor said that I can't wear my contacts for the next 2 weeks, until it clears up. Great... Now I gotta wear the glasses! I went to 3 stores looking for a spray for the glasses that will prevent them from fogging up. Found some wipes, that say "anti-fog", but I'll believe it when I see it. What do you use? What really works?

A .22, with a good hollowpoint, would be adequate to take out a zombie! They take them out all the time on the Walking Dead with knives, pipes, crowbars, and tire irons through the head! More practical too, as you can carry a lot more rounds in your pockets! Another advantage, is that the .22 is a lot quieter than the larger calibers, so it won't attract as many other zombies! If you're still concerned, invest in a .22 MAG!! I would suggest you do some research into zombies and watch the Walking Dead too...
