    Got into the stand a hour before daylight. It was barely drizzling, but I put up the umbrella, just incase. Thank God I did, because it's been pouring for the last 45 min! Oh well, it's suppose to stop at some point this morning.... I hope all of this rain we've been getting this fall is no indication of the amount of snow we'll be getting this winter!! F'n yikes!!!!     8J scrapes are still being used every day. Haven't seen any bucks with does, harassing, seeking, trailing or anything. It's just gotta happen soon though!

    Strictly out of curiosity since Drury Outdoors pimps this app so much, I've been comparing my sightings and trailcam pics to Deer Cast for the past 3 weeks or so. I found it to be totally useless! Yesterday, it said "Great" activity morning and evening. I was in the stand for 9hrs yesterday and saw 1 fawn at 7:20am. The weather was perfect too. This was just one of many days like this and pretty much the last straw. I sent a text saying, "#SUCKITDEERCAST" and deleted the app.

    I skin while the carcass is still warm. If it's cold enough outside, I'll let it hang overnight. If not, I'll debone and get in the refrig or cooler. Regardless, it's usually ready for processing the next day.

    Hunt #24 in the books. Spent 9hrs in the stand today. Only saw a lone fawn at 7:15am...…. WTF!? Finally get a decent weather day.

    Just seeing that fawn 4hrs ago didnt do much for my motivation to do an all day sit. Think I'll head out soon and come back around 2:00 or so. Funny that before turkey season started, I saw turkeys on every hunt. I regularly saw one flock of gobblers. Since season opened.... POOF... GONE! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
