    Best season as far as deee sightings and shot opportunities.ive drawn on 20-30 deer just to see if I could. Passed tons of small bucks and just starting to see good ones now. I still don’t think all hell has broken loose rut wise.

    Im Not counting those, only deer from the stand or walking directly to stand. I should say these are sightings not deer cause 300 deer would be ridiculous.

    Oh I’m sure there’s many repeats, and idk those numbers all I know is I have doe groups of 5-8 on this property, 14 different bucks on camera before the rut. And see at least 10-20 deer on the last mile of my drive either standing in the road or in peoples yards. Usually im lucky to have 100-125 sightings a year but it’s literally been non stop all day on this property.

    Closer to 300, I’ve had 2 hunts without deer. Highest was 23 one day. Multiple locations but majority is at the honey hole. And I still haven’t hunted the spot i was seeing 15 or so a sit last year.

    I had to sneak out in frozen, 10 and doe are still in a small patch of brush. We’re pretty much surrounded by houses so I’m gonna warm up and dry off and slip back in.

    I got home at 4pm, sprinted to my stand, kicked a spike out of my yard. 448 had the spike and a half rack 2.5 y.o push a doe by me.

    Saw 13, 3 bucks, dad dropped pack not xbow shooting.

    Can’t wait till Sunday, I love my bow but am gonna try this cross gunbow thing out to see what it’s all about.

    Wife had shoulder surgery wed, wont be able to get out till sun am, shes really screwing up my vacation! Looks like mostly mornings for the foreseeable future for me.

    The only 3 I’ve shot all looked like scruffy nasty critters, I threw them down the ravine away from my hunting area. Literally took for ever from anything to touch them.

    I wouldn’t call that a big body but I’d call it delicious! Good shot
