Finally woke up this morning to a good frost here in Cortland County (7m/7r)! I haven't been really revved up for hunting until now. Things should begin to fire up down here. Anywhere else been getting or got a good frost this morning?

Deer still need to eat, there is no doubt that they prefer colder weather but I do believe they are becoming more adaptive towards the warmer temps we have been having in the fall.

Heard nothing but great things about this powder, Need to find some for my CVA optima Pro. triple 7 is what I am using now. cant find a good sabot/powder combo for a good moa at 100 yds

I'd have to say big healthy 2.5 as well.

I use one pin that will shoot up to 30 yards. second pin is 35-37 yards. I do not shoot past 40.

I hunt both 7m and 7r as I hunt in southern cortland county where 81 is basically the 7r/7m line. Seen a lot of deer both areas just nothing worth shooting. Tons of small bucks. I did shoot 2 doe in 7r.

I for one can not tolerate tresspassers. It is one of those fine lines with me and I do not tolerate it. Definitley nip this in the butt somehow with the previous suggestions that everyone has given. I for one would personally go knock on the door and confront them. Next step would be a call to authorities and explain the situation in fine detail in how this keeps happening. They have to do something about it and can not just ignore it. You have a right to hunt there and if its your land your paying the taxes for you and your friends to hunt. Not tresspassers.
