  1. Both.. I get excited easily!
  2. There will be lots to learn so make sure you soak in everything and learn from your mistakes, success, and most importantly enjoy yourself. This is a wonderful sport, hobby, and for some of us who are lucky and fortunate enough, a job.
  3. Last night watching some soy bean fields before dark and had noticed that all the bucks but one in the field had shed off their velvet. This really gets the blood flowing and makes me realize that I am a bit behind schedule in preparation for this season. For me, this is the best time of the year!
  4. Very good news for Football I believe! although I still have to root for my G-men, G-Man!
  5. So please put your advertising in a different forum. The clarity of that picture is to good to be true unless its one of those homemade trail cameras with the actual digital cameras.
  6. mid 130's, not wide and tines are average. great buck though
  7. It is def legal to shoot a turkey out of a tree stand.
  8. Last I looked on this the map stated the colder temps would be hitting more in the Midwest than here in NY. this was a few days ago but I agree with everyone else and I wouldn't take it seriously.
  9. I swear by the NAP spitfire mechanical
  10. was wondering about these... they looked good
  11. Nothing too special but should work well like Culver said if you can get it to group well. Soft points are great for deer.
  12. I feel that most of the broad heads today are still built for compounds that are shooting fairly high velocities that many of the crossbows do. I do understand that there are some xbows out there in the 400fps. Seems like a marketing thing for me. Xbows are great but are just not appealing to me as I would much rather shoot with a compound still. Crossbow arrows (bolts) also to my knowledge have thicker shafts so you may want to check out what grain broad head you are using along with the inserts.
  13. nice bucks, looks to be the same buck to me. Hard to say age... if that was him the previous year he was a small 2 year old if everyone thinks hes a 3.
  14. Switching to a single pin slider this year from HHA. Have always had multiple pins. I was wondering who has made a similar switch and how did it go? I know there are pro's and con's as with everything. Shooting a bow that shoot flat to 30 so I figured the single pin will be better with less confusion. Being caught up in the moment on the other hand may burn me.
  15. Thanks for looking out! I have already ordered the scent blocker matrix suit for half the price off of pine mountain store on ebay for $200. Couldn't pass it up
  16. I live in Marathon... just pay attention to whatrs for sale and what not. Try to keep myself educated with what goes on around the area, Snyder hill has a lot of state land... Kinda put two and two together with your name and all...
