WNY that is what I do. I have 2 camera's and 5 SD cards. I card stays in my camera at home, 2 in the trail cams and 2 so when I go check them I just remove and replace.

They are realy neat pictures. Always good to see the bears.

WDSWTR you are correct. He is not a piebald it is the sun. I only know this because I had picture of him (I think it is him) on another camera down the ridge and he was all brown.

I am on the Onieda Madison county line.

We have seen him a couple time during the day in the back lot. He is a 8 pointer.

I know it is early but I have not seen anything this big on our land in a while. He has me counting down the days for bow opener and saying my blessings to hope he hanges around.

To me the horns are a bonus. I have 5 kids still at home so I also hunt for the meat. I have never tried to eat an antler but I bet they are not very tasty

I have to agree. Picture 2 I can not tell but picture 3 is a fisher or a mink.

Here are some pictures that my buddy sent me from his land in Mississippi. Note the ground damage in some of these pictures that these hogs have caused. This is why we do not want them around here. If you have a small game license in Mississippi you can hunt these pigs 24/7 with dogs and no limit. They are very distructive.

I have hunted deer with a gun for the past 22 years but that RUSH last night was nothing like hunting with a gun. I still get excited when gun hunting but bow hunting if just awsome when that deer comes in like that.

I am 38 years old and just started to bow hunt this year. I have to say WOW what a rush! I did not get a shot off but man what a RUSH! I got out of work at 4:30 yesterday and was in my stand by 5:12. Just sitting there hoping I can get a chance to just see some deer because last week-end (opening week-end) I seen no deer and I was in the woods for 10 hours on Saturday. Anyway, after a while I heard a single gun shot from the neighboring property so I looked at my watch and it was 5:40 and still no deer. At 5:50 another gun shot from the neighbors land and still no deer. About 5 to 10 minutes later straight across the hay field from my stand a nice 6 pointer appeared out of the golden rod / apples. He was just outside of his ears and about 6 – 7 “above his ears. My heart was pounding on my chest. The field is only 58 yards across but extremely long. This guy would never come any closer then 40 – 45 yards. I was shaking the whole time he was out there. This guy stayed just out of my range until 6:34 when he turned and walked back into the apples and gone for the night. He had no clue I was there and the wind was hitting me in the back going directly to him. I hope I will get a second chance and a shot next time but man I have to say WHAT A RUSH!!!!

I have to go with mxsmitz and say most of the single shots are probably people turkey hunting. This is my first year bow hunting and the last 22 years I was one of those out there turkey hunting while you guy's where bow hunting. I know why did I wait until I was 38 to start bow hunting? Just never knew how exciting it was.

I have to agree with Bubba. I would have call DEC. I actually carry our local DEC officers card with my hunting tag so I have it while in the woods if needed.

Here in Vernon they are saying 60% chance of rain and winds about 19 mph out of the NW until about noon. After noon 10% chance of rain with little wind. I will ride out the storm and be in my stand by 5:45 - 6:00 and keep my fingers crossed that I get action. Like others have said if you are not out hunting you will not get a deer. The weather for saturday is not going to be the best in the moring but I will still be there. They are saying 60% chance of rain which is not bad but 20 mile an hour winds. I do not like that but never the less I am ready to hunt.
