I would be having a LONG talk with the principal, the teacher and maybe the school district superintendent. Unacceptable! -
The only real "cure" is time....It will go away. Best to simply deal with symptoms with many of ideas above. I personally used acupuncture along with heat, ice, creams, therapy etc.....Very painful!

I don't mean to be cynical, but I've been around a while, and have watched this state become more radical every year. Between the taxes, regulation and now the SAFE act, I can't see it changing back in my lifetime. That said, I have NO INTENTION of "running away", and will fight with my time, my money and my votes for what we believe. I think the odds of the country electing more true conservatives are much better than the state of NY doing so. I spend time in Louisiana & Florida every year, and things are much different in both states, as well as out west. I also agree that the 2nd amendment will be under siege on a federal level for the many years to come, so organizing and funding is key. Just for the record....

Chris, I have hunted ducks since age 14, (now 51). To be legal in NY you need a small game license, a federal duck stamp, (can be purchased at any post office for $15.00), and a NY HIP registration number, (can be obtained online). This will get you legal. It is however, a very good idea to take a duck ID course, which are offered in various places around the state. I took mine at Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge many years ago, but they still offer it. Season dates are spilt between 5 different areas of NY, all with separate dates. You can find this info at http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/28888.html Many bodies of water hold waterfowl, of course knowing the legality of where to hunt is important. Again, I direct you to the NYDEC website for more info. The best way to learn is by finding someone who has experience and will let you tag along. Two important factors are, having permission if your on, or going across private land, AND, where you can legally shoot on land, or over water. To be successful, scouting is the key. The best decoys and calling in the world, can't compete with being where the birds want to be. Find where they are one day, set up the next, and you will have success. Don't forget the camo, birds can see well, and you must wear life preservers after November 1, its now the law. (Good idea anytime) Lastly, cold water kills quickly!! Don't ever fool with big water in a small boat. Always be prepared, and when in doubt, don't go out! Hope this helps some.....

Properly packaged, (well wrapped in freezer paper), I have found it last 2 years, at least.

https://www.facebook...&type=1 This is a fantastic buck!, but, look how far behind the deer he is....It always baffles me why people do this. The deer is a beautiful, once in a life time trophy, and in my opinion, there is simply no need to play optical tricks when taking a photo. Im not saying this guy did it on purpose, but I have seen it done in the past. Just like holding a fish with both arms outstretched, the fish simply looks bigger than it is. Like This Quote

Like a wise man once said...FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS. -
When the opener was on a Monday, we used to have a big crew at camp all day Sunday, (a greatly missed tradition). We would all put in $20.00 for what we called a "buck pool", with the money going to biggest rack at the end of opening day. Only problem was, guys would shoot any buck just in case no one else shot one, to collect the cash. Most years it was well over $200.00

While I always am hunting for a mature buck, I will shoot a doe to fill the freezer, and to help the heard stay healthy. I hunt in areas where the deer are a problem, and from what I read, a good buck to doe ratio is important for the future of the deer on my property. Now, I have shot a doe or two when she has fawns in toe...I HATE DOING IT, but, almost every doe I see has a fawn with her. I have researched this carefully and understand a huge majority of fawns will survive perfectly fine. They are weaned way before I would ever shoot one, (mid to late gun season), and by January in NY, most deer heard up for the winter.

I know how it is....sounds like you hunt hard, bow & gun......just can't wait to get in the woods. I'm 51, and been hunting since age 12. I still wake up too early on hunt mornings, too excited to sleep until the alarm goes off, and that's on weekdays, 2/3rds through the season! My solution, (this year), hunted ducks last two mornings and had a blast. Didn't think about scent control, being quiet, what stand to hunt, wind direction....etc...just had fun with friends. (and shot ducks) Added benefit, gave the land a rest, and a chance for deer to move without me there. Good luck & be safe
