  1. Do you have a smart phone? Or even on a computer ~~ download Zillow real estate app or look on your computer. It will show you property boundaries if you zoom in. That's how I've found many property stakes and settled a few disputes. I have the onyx app also but it's a 30$ app but nice to give you the names of property owners. Excepcialy backing up to a hunting club I would secure that line

  3. There is a tree down forcing them to ride threw your land? Why not cut the tree out of their way??
  4. It's kinda like when the trespasser wins. I have a hard time with that. I wouldn't give up my spot. If it's anything like up north the chief would hear you out if you asked to speak to him, I would and I'm betting you wouldn't have any problems again ~ ever. You could see your truck from your spot? Awesome. Call 911 at the first sign of trouble. Natives deserve probably more respect than anyone but there are arsholes of every race.
  5. Nice, you haven't checked your cam in awhile?
  6. Had a doe, 4pnt and a bruiser all following each other Friday morning. Passed me three times in that formation. 4pnt only had one care in the world while the bruiser hung back cautiously ~~ he didn't get big not being
  7. I wash my hunting clothes twice ( once no detergent ) hang outside and bag it for the ride. Use a cover cent that smells like leaves. I spray that stuff all over exspecialy inside outside of boots. I hunt some stands that don't have a way to sneak in. Many times watched a deer pick up the scent and follow my path. Don't think they would do that without it.I would absolutely say it's beneficial
  8. Went and picked it up today. Scope was dead on at 30yrds. I only can get 60yrds in my back yard and this is a pic of the first group in the wind. Won't be shooting groups anymore. I shoot a Mathews chill turned all the way up and the speed difference is night and day.
  9. Yes I had a picture of it and then my IPhone slipped off the dash of my ups truck on the road going 40mph. Went from 60yrd to a hundred and the group was the only shots at that distance. I pulled the bolts and my next shot completely missed the block lol. The scope sights in at 20 then 30 and then has marks out to 100 , you adjust the scope to the fps. ~ had to try it.
  10. Mathews doesn't make crossbows they market them under mission. It's Ben done a few days , going to pick it up tomorrow. I would have had to wait longer on s replacement so they basically ordered a new front everything no questions asked. I'll let you know what I think after some field practice. Kinda scary when I actually put it in prospective
  11. Where is this property???? I don't want to accidentally be within 50miles of it!
  12. We are using GPS kit. App this year. You can make a trail with weigh points and pictures and then send it to your buddy in Flirida threw email and your trail will appear in his maps. So when you send him to a stand in the dark a half mile threw the woods he actually finds it. You can also c every one in live time in your party on the map. They have a function also that the wife can c all of you home live on the computer ~ we disabled that function. 10$ so far so good
  13. Having the first day the I was able to sight it in the day started well. I actually shot out to 100yrds in a 4 inch group. Then it shot a little off but I thought nothing of it. Last shot I believe the limb blew up or the string slipped the cam. Anyway by the picture it's screwed. I Believe it was a fluke. I'm not upset at mission or the bow shop (yet). If I don't get handed a new one walking out tomorrow that may be a diffrent story.
  14. Funny you should say that SCblyn. This spot is actually smack dab in the middle of a swamp ~ no 4 wheeler access. I had to shoulder a stand still in the box and assemble it out there. For him I'll figure it out ;-)
  15. Looks like the one fell in a corn bin and ate his way out of it
  16. My brother shot this a few years back. It's sexual organs were deformed. One in a million. I have some basket racked and younger still in velvet on the cams
  17. I deliver in Mendon/Pittsford. They have jet black squirrels out there running around for several years now
  18. yeah I've gotten them doing odd stuff before but never sparing. It's a family property that I never had checked out until this year. Glad I did ;-)
  19. Thanks. I've notices all the 1-2 year olds seem to be in full velvet still and the shooter are not. Is this the same for everyone else??
  20. I've yet to see a deer eat a ear of corn off the stalk. If it's not sweet corn I'm betting that corn stays standing longer than the two weeks you are thinking. Some farmers left their corn standing a well into winter last year. Alfalfa field
  21. Definitely worth the walk in the rain to go pull cards;-)
