got in my stand Saturday morning after about 20 min, i look down and see a nice 10 point walking right past me and stops 9 yards right in front of me perfect broadside. could see him clear as day could see my pins clear as day, nothing in the way. only problem was....it was 6:45 am.

i have it and use it , seems to work just like it should.

checked cams this weekend and was happy to see this healthy looking guy on there. sorry for bad quality.

oh i do all kinds of fun things in between but there is nothing like Bow hunting to me. i turkey hunt fish, go boating play with my new 7 month old son. all kinds of good stuff. but Oct 1st is always in the back of my head, waiting to see what bucks made it through the season then watching them grow antlers.

Till the opening of the 2013 bow season and i already cant wait!!

Haha i love how people see a few deer together eating and BOOM right to bating. People on this Forum crack me up! Its called deer grazing for food naturally. Anyway that is a really cool video. hopefully you'll see her again some time.

So is there a story cabin? like did you shoot and miss and he got shot someplace else? did you even see him during the season? just courious.

it will be fine, we shot a doe thursday morning, took it to the butcher yesterday, he said i aint gonna skin it till saturday so you can either leave it here on the gorund or take it home and hang it till saturday. i asked about the meat he said it would be fine. so we hung it till this morning and dropped it off.

I seen this guy this past saturday evening 11/3, then got him on cam this past tuesday 11/6. im headed out this afternon and i cen hunt all weekend long, the wifey and baby wont be around. so hopefully he comes by for a vist. looks like he has a busted off G3 on his right side. 10pt.AVI

sitting in my stand this morning...my seat fell out from under me, made the loudest noise ever. oh yeah also this morning while putting on a glove my hand slipped and i punched myself in the face,...my cousin got a good laugh out of that one.....but minuts before that i handed him a grunt call and he procided to try to blow in it the wrong way....haha was a good funny morining for us

I love how every thread now days seems to some how turn into someone bashing someone else. it keeps me ammused while im sitting in a tree stand.

i had a button buck do that to me last year, every time i sat in the one particualr stand he would show up hang out there even lay down withing 15 yards of me, he did that at least 10 or more times to me last year during bowa nd even gun season. i got almost the same exact pic of hime i took a bunch ill have to see if i can find them to share.

Bad shots happen...was it a poor shot choice i would say yes, but bottom line was the deer died and from what was said in the harvest thread it seems like it died pretty fast. lesson hopefully learnded.

im in 8H and been seeing smaller bucks out trolling checking scrapes and rubs in the evening, saw 2 doe last night walk right past a 6 point he wanted nothing to do with them he was more intrested in his scrape he was checking.

Phade, no i did not i jsut put it on and assumed it was good, and we all know what happens when we assume things....

SO i got a chance to shoot last night, first i i shot my rage practice tip, it was right on, next i shot a normal field tip it was right on. then i use a rage broad head with just an O ring.......it shot dead on. so i shoot again with just an O ring it shot dead on again. now mind you i when i was missing i had the O ring with the Orange shock coller, so i set up and arrow just like that i shoot and miss about 10 inches left and low. now thats not the 2 feet i said earlier but still a big miss, so i set up another arrow with the broad head, O ring and Orange shock coller and it misses left again, switch back to just O ring and shoot and its dead on, so my conclusion is that for some reason the Rage Broadheads that I have dont soot well when the O ring and shock coller are used together..... so i shot enough to getmy confidence back up i pretty much shot one of the Rages so much that it will be just emergance arrow form now on..

yeah fasteddie ill try that out if i decide to not use them, thanks for the idea.

i have never had this probelem before. this is the 1st year i decided to try rage. soon as i get a chance ill be out shooting again, i can promis you that i wont be hunting till i know my equipement is working properly.
