Chicken enchiladas

Yup , wasn't eating the lead paint chips to make me " a bit off " . It was a couple of lead .177 pellets in my lip when we'd go rabbit hunting with the single shot pellet pistols. Just in case of a quick follow up shot or a miss. Man. Burt Dam used to be a mess with those Michigan crickets. 40 pound test snarls everywhere and gutted salmon all over.

Like this ? Just watched Alien ( 1979) last night with the girls

Get these SOB's on my line ? So I got my spinning rod out last night to suit up for steelies near my house. Standard issue 6 pound test and then a 3 foot section of 4x tipit I can't hold onto these things let alone find the split to get them on the tipit. I wanted to use big ( pictured ) to gradually smallest ( pictured ) to get the jigs/ sucker spawn etc down to the bottom. Using slip bobber about 2 feet above tip it extension. I dropped too many to mention. Finally gave up and opted for smallest regular split shot I had. It's too much weight I'm afraid to get any natural movement
-
I'll second that motion I heard they raised the price again this year. Seems like every year, more $ and less cookies in the box.

Ballantine was recently bought by Pabst hence the dollar a quart, They also have some much better craft beers on the market today.

That's lucky ?! Hate to have bad luck

Ok , I have a few shooters rests and not a Lead sled. Is there any truth to optics getting messed up or stocks cracking as the lead sled doesn't allow for any give ?
-
Going to be tough now as fox trapping/ hunting season closed. Not sure legality of it is at this point to even pick up a roadkill. I believe it's a no go now.
-
The Walking Dead got postponed on DVR til tonight as mama wanted to watch the awards. She owns "the thang" so I obliged.

rawhide thong ?! I have a cheetah print one. Oh wait , you mean something different than I was thinking. Pretty sure just about every bird except maybe two haven't been typical 2 year olds with the standard issue 3/4" to 7/8" inch spurs Nice bunch of limb hangars Pygmy Sucks about losing some in the fire. -
So far Mad Max is kicking butt over Renevent I think it's 5 to 1. Saw both. Don't get it , Mad Max fair at best. Renevent was excellent

Beards, Spurs & Primary Feathers & Fan Etc.............
turkeyfeathers replied to Lawdwaz's topic in Turkey Hunting
I have only saved two fans. One on a bird I killed hunting with my brother and the what I think was a 5.5 year old + bird I hunted for years. A good game of chess year after year with him so he was special 1.25" hooks and only double beard I've killed. Saved beard from bird I killed last year with daughter along Have a big bucket of feet I eventually will cut the spurs off and put on a lanyard. All the wings go to a buddy who uses them to fletch arrows for his primitive bow. A few feathers from each bird go in empty hull on a window sill. -
