  1. Shop around, don’t have a set truck/color/options etc. Pay cash and be willing to travel. You have to find a dealer who’s been sitting on the same truck for too long on a day when they need a sale. You have to be willing to say no and not fall in love with a particular truck. My truck I have now took me over a month to buy, sent pictures of my trade, what I wanted for it and my offer for the truck in an email. The dealer had the truck on their lot for over 200 days so I figured they’d be willing to make a deal. After over a month and probably 20 back and forth emails they accepted my original offer. I never stepped foot in the dealer ship they delivered the truck and picked up my trade the same day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Your trade has very little to do with condition, within reason. If your trading every year or couple years the price you pay has way more to do with cost of ownership. My last truck I never washed the exterior or cleaned the interior once in the 2 years I owned it. They tried taking 100$ of the trade value for a cleaning fee, I got it back. 3. My truck I bought in September sticker price was 54,000$ I payed 38,000 out the door, before trade. Carvana trade in offer today was 37,200$ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Your neighbor ieither has less brains or money than me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I buy leftovers so I don’t take the big hit up front and trade it. My last truck cost me 4,100$ to own for 25 months and 34,000 miles. It usually works out to 170$ a month to own a new truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That’s completely different, doing drugs s d owning guns don’t harm anyone else when used “properly.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. You could change a couple words in your point and make a very strong anti gun case. Me personally I feel I’m being a hypocrite by thinking I should be able to own /shoot any gun I want but then turn around and tell someone else what they can do on their days off. That’s not the way it works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Why not? As long as the habits are not tax payer funded I’m all for it! I don’t think the government should be able to tell me what guns I can own, what a woman wants to do with her body or what drugs someone can use. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Listen, I think all drugs should be legal as long as we drug test all government assistance recipients! If someone’s ants to responsibly smoke pot, snort coke or shoot heroin I’m all for it! As long as the tax payers aren’t funding it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. His argument is financially based as is my analogy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. People are going to speed too, should cops stop writing speeding tickets? State makes more tax revenue from people driving fast! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So if you have a hole in a water pipe do you fix the hole first or just add more water flow? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I think that offer sounds pretty reasonable. I buy a new truck every 2 years and this is the math I always use to figure out trade my trade in values. If sticker was 67,000 you should have pod around 60,000 before taxes. The second you drive it off the lot that truck lost 15-20% if we call that 9,000 of what you paid we’re down to 51,000 new trucks depreciate 5% a year for the first 5 years it’s 2 yrs old so that’s 5,000 that puts my math at 46,000$. Markets fluctuate and demand is high so the dealers will ask 52000, take the first 50,000 offer. You’re in a tough spot, low mileage doesn’t add significantly to value. You’re a couple months from it being 3 yrs old and you had a remodel happen, you’re truck is now the old style. You might be able to make a little more selling it outright in a private sale but there’s not many people who shop for 50,000$ trucks on Craigslist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Last year I hunted turkeys in 8 New York counties and 3 north east states and I just don’t see the population being too low. I killed 2 of my turkeys last year in areas where 20yrs ago there were none. Around home we don’t have the population we did 15 yrs ago but 15 yrs ago my father and I were the only 2 people hunting my block of over 3000 acres. We also didn’t have hardly any coyotes or fox’s back then. I’m also not sure that we weren’t over populated back then either.
  15. It was a good overnight trip to maine! Got some ammo at very reasonable prices! 2000rds of 9mm for 500$ 150rds of 40 for 26$ 50rds of 45acp for 18$ 140rds of 44mag XTP’s for 110$ 50rds of 10mm for 16$ 20rds of 450bushmaster for 32$ 125rds of 20ga high brass 6’s for 45$ No screaming deals but basically pre pandemic pricing on everything, nothing I really needed but I buy what I find at reasonable prices. 20. I think he isn’t, with the pressured narrative by the media the fact that they’ve showed the jury’s face is enough to sway their decision. FACTS, as you like to say. “The cops messed up big time.” You literally can’t mess up and commit murder, thanks for proving my point. Have a good day I’m heading gun shopping. 21. Unlike many on here the leaders of China and Russia are smart enough to know that joe isn’t in charge of anything! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I think he’ll get charged with murder because he is not getting a fair trial, he will get a retrial after the appeal and in a couple years they’ll get to it and it will be overturned. By then the left will have a different hot topic and no one will care or remember either of their names. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Honestly I see that day as a win win, we got a terrible cop and a lifelong dirtbag off the street. I’ll drink to that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Complaints don’t mean anything, I’ve had tons of them filed on me and have yet to have one stick but they still go in my record. If they were found to be true that would be a different story. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
