You have more patience than me Bill, if I have one hang up that close I’m laying the sneak on him for sure! Ny bird #1 did just that, it took some time to get close enough to him and I kept having to call him back to where he was comfortable but he ended up on the turkey tote. I’m no biologist but the theory I’ve came up with is this. Deer feed for X amount of time a day depending on time of year. If you pay attention to a deers feeding habits in mid September and then again in late October there times of feeding have not changed the only thing that has changed is it gets dark earlier. You’re daylight deer sightings go down because there’s less daylight. I used to think it was pressure to until I started running cameras and learned that the same deer stepped in front of the same camera at 7:30 everyday until the food supply changed mid November. If you’re vaccinated and everyone else that wants to be is why do you care. “If” I needed a card to do what I want to but am not willing to get a vaccine that I’m not comfortable getting I’ll do what I need to to live my life. I’ve avoided masks since day 1. At work it’s unavoidable, if we are around cons we wear them the second we aren’t they’re off. I’ve changed some of my habits to avoid putting on a mask. I no longer go to Stewart’s for a coffee before work, I now go to a small gas station that hasn’t ever asked me to put on a mask and the employees usually don’t have one on either. I don’t do much other shopping, groceries I order online and they put it in the back of my truck. Most gun shops never made you wear a mask. The local hardware store hasn’t told me to put a mask ok yet. I have became a new loyal customer of a local mechanic. He made a big sign and hung it outside of his shop that said don’t wear a mask in my shop. He got my business for life. I’ve done these things knowing good and well that it makes zero difference in the big picture but it’s made me feel better and I enjoy supporting people with similar beliefs. Have had a fun couple days hunting the Berkshires in Mass. been on birds both mornings. This morning I played cat and mouse with a bird from dark until 10:30, I let him drift off then made my move to cut him off after he responded to a crow call. I ended up bumping him a ridge closer than I thought he was on. Could have shot him in the air at 15yds but that’s no fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Use what ever helps your confidence but I shot both my birds this year wearing firstlite camo pants, a brown and white flannel shirt and a grey hat, no gives or face mask all washed in whatever is cheapest. When I was only using a bow I would wear a leafy shirt but it got ripped and I never replaced it because I never found it to work any better than an earth colored flannel. I can say from the 15ish spring birds I’ve killed with a bow zero were from a blind and that is exactly how I learned how forgiving turkeys CAN be to movement. @Biz-R-OWorld I would say hunting them with a bow without a blind is more than twice as hard probably close to 10x’s. I don’t agree, the first bird I got this year I rolled over to a knee and killed him because he came in on my left side and I shoot lefty. He watched me do it from inside of 20yds all he did was pick his head up, putted and got killed, I guess you’re kind of correct because he is now history. I have no idea what bill’s intentions with the photo were and do not care. But I can say from my experience and the 50+ turkeys I’ve killed movement isn’t always a deal breaker. I will never let a turkey walk because they’re behind or on my strong side I’ll always make a move because I’ve killed lots of birds doing it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
