32 and calm Had an owl fly in to 10-15 feet as I got in my ladder stand we had a little chat that I was not a snack. Had deer running behind me before light and just stop.

10/25 am 52 Down in the deep hole stand for 5.5 hours. At 9:30 I had a doe and two fawns come in and hang around for a long time. They browsed and bedded off and on for 3+ hours. Twice the doe was two steps from a shooting lane. After the doe finally bedded a bit farther away I was willing to spook a fawn betting that the doe would not get to bent. I eased down and out and did just that and they jogged into the thick stuff. Bro was out up top and saw nothing. pm 49 Back in the same spot at 4pm for 2 hours. On way in I bumped the same 3 bedded right near my stand. Nothing else for me or brother. I did pull the cam card on this spot and it showed a lot more activity but all at night. 4 different bucks and lots of does. A decent 8 made the scrapes this week. He was on camera 3 times in the last 5 days. The next two weeks should be interesting.

Doe got up almost stepped in a lane turned went 45 yards and bedded again. This might be a long sit. Which I packed a sandwich!

Lol doe is bedded 30 yards from me facing me that would go poorly!

Soon as I sent my last update in wanders a doe and two fawns. After 30 minutes of dodgin all my lanes and browsing they are all bedded 30-50 yards away

I swear the wife must be mad at me and putting anti deer mix in my hunting clothes detergent! I am like deer repellent lately! It is perfect wind, temp all conditions fresh sign and scrapes...... Just depressing! Someone shoot one and post pics to keep me motivated! Help a brother out!

Rained all night pretty much and just stopped before I headed in at 6:15. Probably wiped out all my mock scrape work yesterday! Lol Well they should be moving to freshen them. 52 and a bit breezy.

10/24 am 38 Out behind the house in the far stand for 3 hours and a big zip. I did hit a scrape going in by one of my brothers stands that was not there yesterday. Neither of us saw a thing. I then went to an unhuntable property and got about a gallon of dirt and 5 licking branches form assorted fresh scrapes. I then put a couple mocks in by the far stand behind the house. Then went to another property and put a mock scrape in by the deep hole stand which also had about 6 fresh scrapes around it. Pm 51 I then hit 2 Rivers for a little wander with my climber for last watch. I saw one doe while walking in and watched for 1.5 hours no luck. Things should start picking up lots of new scrapes.

Most my spots are the same deer go by different directions all the time. An old guy once told me deer move with the wind to there nose. I asked then shouldn't all the deer be in California by now!?

I figured I'd give the curse of 60 road a shot! Had one doe cross the trail on my way in.. Spent the day collecting scrape dirt and lick branches from a prop we can't hunt and put in some mock scrapes at a couple of my stands.. My deep hole stand had 6/7 fresh scrapes around it. Bout time the scraping has got going!

Not sure why seeing 4 bucks and shooting a doe you would want your luck to change!! I would say that ain't to bad o luck!

Siri has confirmed the is an October lull. She did say it may be a phenomenon that may only be experienced by me and a few other lucky(un) ones!

Got a late start iPhone did an overnight update and locked up, that is my alarm so not good. Woke up at 6:34!I answered natures call, dressed, filled the thermos and was still in the tree before 7am. I am usually in stand by 6:30 ish but bumped nothin on the way in and got here before legal. I did hit a fresh scrape made last night so that is good. It's 38 and 5-10 wind

I would think that a two blade and three blade might fly a little different. That said I use Rage and have for 4 years or more and hunt over 40 days a year and not once have had a blade come out or loose on the string or in the quiver? If you set them up right no issue. And now the new ones have new collars as well. That said I am not trying to convert you a lot of folks hate Rage. I just have had no issues and have had at least 20-24 of them.

10/23 am 36 Nice and cold woods were quiet. Just another zippo morning! Did have a nice red fox walk right under me.

36 when I got in stand in 7a Unbelievable that not one deer sighted! Been a bad 10 days or so!
