    Yea I had 6 bucks around 12 on sat on my way to my afternoon spot...all crusin thru same area couldn't get them to come close enough for a shot...except for a big boy who came in behind me when I turned around to head where I was gonna set up...pretty cool just no shots

    Just the park...cant shoot any small game...but we do have a season but it's open all of deer season

    Again I'm not to familiar with there but I doubt 1 cat would...would take a bunch I'd imagine... sounds like your woods are dwindling....do they need logged off a bit to put some tops on ground? Is the woods floor looking good? Ferns berries and underbrush? The trees look healthy how do the deer you are seeing look? Healthy?? I'd say something is definitely off something has had to change even if seems small something is making them wander....

    Might be time to plant a plot to see what you can draw back in...it's hard to say could be many small things that just slowly make the deer move on...

    I don't know much about there....but did any local farms start/stop planting crops? Any locals putting harder pressure on the deer than in the past? Is the woods still "healthy" good food source undergrowth bedding areas ect....

    I know I over call....i get bored bad and tend to call alot...sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. ...8 don't think does care about calling what so ever....bucks especially older ones may be hesitant of doesn't seem right....i did read up on not calling when in open area so bc I call alot I tend to set up with good cover around so if a deer come in to check out can't see there isn't a deer around

    Yea actually can't shoot a yote if it walks by either I guess....can't small game hunt while big game season there...and the deer mostly hang out in the no hunting areas....they have some rules that don't make much sence but it's decent hunting

    Yea can't hunt Sundays in Alleghany state park....have to use shotgun plugged to 3 rounds...can't shoot bears.....good luck this season

    Lol...i live in olean good luck this year....here is link click on towns and boundaries in the first paragraph....by the way 9s is Alleghany state park only so unless you are gonna hunt state park I wouldn't look for that tag....and tags down here are very very hard to get without preference points.....good luck this season

    Off topic but just sighted in my new muzzle loader I bought at cabelas few weeks back with bore sighted scope was 14 in low at 50 yards.....good thing I had a big backer board

    Well I've been slacking on updating this due to phone almost always being dead after work....I've been hunting hard last week and see nothing but sign. ...except today I saw 6 different bucks including a huge buck....now if only I was in my stand and not walking when I seen them....only spooked one and set up down aways hoping he'd come around wind picked up and saw nothing.....hopefully I get up in the morning really really picking up here in southern tier....

    So I got down to set up in my night spot...i stopped in middle of field to call uncle and see if he's commin out....look over 2 bucks strolling thru woods about 100 yards out...so I snuck inside woods edge and hit grunt few times next thing I know there's 5 different bucks running around trying to figure out who's making noise...so I stopped and let them walk figured I'd get set up....walking back thru field and a big big 8 walks out starring st me and snorts and takes off....i am now set up waiting for stuff to happen....3 spikes a 4 or 6 and 2 8s....second one was all puffed up....here's hoping

    Last year the farmer by me cut corn the Thursday and Friday before opening day.....what a nice guy.....
