Thanks and yea the doe bedding is straight up hill from the scrape I'm setting up on and around the hill a few hundred yards also but I'm set up in between where their bedding is and food is and scrape is right in between in. Thought that made sence I was shocked not to have seen any deer from that spot yet but it hasn't been the friendliest weather to hunt in. I'll be back out there tonight and hopefully every day the next week or so.

Thanks yea these scrapes go around the hill right on a old wheeler path that I walk never seen anything like it bad part is I'm out of vac time and can only get in woods about 330 but hopefully I can catch him one day I've been using my climber in same tree for few sits now but been windy...

So I went out yesterday to a spot I had seen a few scrapes weekend before. I walked in same path I did last time and noticed no joke 22 fresh scrapes. Every spot where there was a branch over the path it was scraped up and the branch over head u could see was messed with. Broken and some bark missing of twigs fresh breaks and so on. Anyway the scrape I set up on last weekend when I got down I did my own senting on it and the deer really has been working that scrape hard now and has added multiple within shooting range of thay spot. My question is would it be likely these are all from same buck or multiple bucks or what? I've never seen this many in one area. O and from truck to stand is maybe 600 yards around side of hill. Thanks for Info.

If I remember right a few years back they were having trigger issues...but had a recall fixed them. I owned one didn't care for action much so I moved to a savage axis 270...good luck with it 270 is a great round -

Hunter/Game Warden relationships
stoneam2006 replied to DeerLogic's topic in Advertisers / Site Sponsors Area
I got one about a sherif not game warden...but before this safe act BS happened I was shooting with my old man out in field behind his house in canandaigua we were shooting AR AK and a highpoint when 2 sherif cars pulled up and started walking out in field....we unloaded and shouldered the rifles. They asked for Id and proceeded to tell us we were doing everything right and legal shooting downhill into a backstop. The one sherif asked me to take a look at the AK as he had never seen one of course being a gun guy I handed him it unloaded and he ran the action and looked down the sights and said he liked it. I had a nice long conversation about parts kits and how I built it and he was very impressed overall a very nice experience with the local leo. -

stoneam2006 replied to Merlot's topic in Deer Processing
Could be him idk the road names I just know where he is and yea I found out the hard way that he's only open for gun season as I tried to get my archery kills up there....and I honestly don't know anything about processing other than the basics. But the meat lasted a year for me just finished last of it last month and he really does a great job -
