    Speaking of the Chinese, they are required to use cell phones for everything related to identification for health care. I read an article that 21 million cell phones have been deactivated in the last few months. I have a feeling that you’ll never get the truth on how many have died over there.

    Luckily I was able to find 1000 rounds of 223 online the other day. Not much left anywhere.

    As nice as the hog hunter scope is, I feel that it’s not quite what I’m looking for, and probably more than I need. I think I’m going to go with a spitfire 3x. I’d rather have the bdc reticle and a fixed 3x power. And I can always add a red dot sight to the side of it as well if needed for close range shooting. I’ll have to check one out in person somewhere before I make a final decision.

    I’ll look into that one. That might be what I need. I also see that Vortex makes prism scopes. Would that be like a cross between a regular scope and a red dot?

    Great information. I didn’t realize that. Thanks. So if I went with a scope, is there something that you could recommend for shooting 2-300 yards in low light or nighttime conditions?

    I’m not sure. I’ve never used a red dot before and these are all new to me, but a few people have told me that’s the way to go. Idk. What would you recommend?

    After doing some more reading, I’m thinking of the Vortex Strikeforce now.

    I’m looking for a red dot for my AR. I’m curious as to what people are using. It’s pretty much going to be a plinking gun, but I think that I’d like to have the option to use it at night as well in the future. I’d also like to use a magnifier for some long range shooting. I spent hours last night looking at all the different models. I’m thinking maybe the Vortex Crossfire along with the Vortex magnifier with flip mount. I can get both on Amazon for about $350. Any thoughts on these two or recommendations on something else in this price range?

    A woman that I know posted posted on Facebook that she has it. She’s been quarantined at home now for 11 days and the hospital has her on the malaria drug. She said it seems to be working and many patients are on it, even though it’s not being publicized yet. Hopefully things continue to improve for her and everyone else so that the FDA can give it the ok for widespread use.

    I’m thinking a red dot. It’s pretty much going to be a plinking gun for me. I did get a set of sights with it so I’ll put them on for now. And I just found a 1000 round box online. So I might get to the range sooner than later. Can’t wait!

    I need to find some more ammo before I get to the range. What little I found earlier this week is nonexistent now. They even shorted me on my order. I guess I got the last few boxes from them.

    Finally got my first AR put together. I can’t wait to see what it’ll do. It just needs a scope but I’m not sure what I’m going to go with just yet.

    The boss told us that we’re working Monday. He said that we are essential. We essentially need to get this marina finished by Memorial Day so that the boats can get in here. I’m very thankful. Especially because it’s a prevailing wage job and it would mean a really big loss in the wallet!

    NYS just ordered all non essential businesses to close effective Sunday night. Not sure yet how I will be affected, but my employer is definitely non essential, but we work outdoors. I won’t be surprised if we are told to come in on Monday judging by his comments this past week. I guess it all depends on what kind of fines are imposed as we are in the middle of a multi million dollar contract to finish this job by Memorial Day.

    From what I can tell is the .458 shooting a 300g is nearly identical to the 300g federal trophy copper that I shoot now. Sounds impressive, but that’s not what I’m looking for right now. Sounds like the 6.8 is going to be the best bet.

    400+ grain bullets is in the same range as my 12g copper slugs. I would guess that they have the same effective range limitations as my 12g, right? i do love my slug gun, but it does have its limits.
